Here is one scouting report on Dupree.
08/19/14 - Kentucky's top NFL Draft-eligible prospects to watch in 2014: 1. DE Alvin "Bud" Dupree, Redshirt Senior...Dupree does a nice job of varying his get-off out of the three-point stance. He isn't truly explosive but can time the snap well to surprise pass-blockers after lulling them to sleep. He locates the football quickly and is passionate in pursuit, making a number of his plays yards downfield after his initial rush went for naught. Dupree changes directions quickly and has impressive acceleration for his size. He isn't afraid to leave to his feet and dive to make the tackle, showing good hand-eye coordination to trip up ball-carriers.

Ehh scouting reports are fun this time of year...Best thing we can do is watch the tape when more starts to (hopefully) come out in the coming months and form a better opinion based on what we see.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1877307/alvin-dupree
"Productive pass rusher whose success stems from his physical gifts and technique. Dupree possesses long arms, a quick burst, the flexibility to turn the corner and an explosive burst to close when the ballcarrier is near"

http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/scoutingreport2015adupree.php
"There is a lot to like about Dupree's skills transitioning to the NFL. He has a fast first step and often is the first player off the ball. The senior has the closing speed to get to quarterbacks in an instant and also chases down ball-carriers from the backside. Dupree has good athleticism and agility to move around blockers in tight areas."

My top 5 DE.
1 Ray
2 Orchard
3 Gregory
4 Fowler Jr
5 Calhoun

Sorry but Dupree is not a 1st round player to me and I will not reach on a DE just because we need 1. I go BPA and at the end of the 1st Dupree is not BPA.

Also only my top 4 I have as a 1st round pick right now. Calhoun is a 2nd round gradr.

CALHOUN?
the same calhoun that when some1 put them in there mock as a 1st round you picked him to death?
ohhhhhh im gonna find that comment

edit-hahahaha found it hypocrite

Ok
Calhoun is not a 1st round DE. Slow and just stands up. No fire and quickness.

I like bennett but I don't know if that's the position we need a 2nd round pick at when we have crawford startinh. Just depends on bpa there. If it's him I'm fine with the pick

Holloman is terrible tackler. This draft is a good safety draft and we can find one in the 3rd that is better but Wilcox is starting to turn it on and the coaches like him

Don't like Duke Johnson. Just a hole hitter and goes down easy. I don't like his vision to find the cutback and not good between the tackles. Needs to be I space. Doesn't really fit the schrme.

I like the qb. Good place in the draft for 1 but just depends on bpa again.[/quote

Just because I have him at 5 doesn't mean he is a 1st round pick. I even said only my top 4 have 2 st round grades. So no its not hypocritical.

But yet only gets to the qb when he plays a bad offense or a coverage sack. People talk about his speed but show me 3 sacks vs a good team where his speed was the reason. I've never seen it.

He has good burst but when a OT gets a hand on him he is stopped clean in his tracks.

He doesn't but I think he is a 2nd round pick based on his size and strength. He can set the edge. Also has better rush moves than dupree. Again he isn't a 1st round pick. Never said he was. Just right now I have him 5th on my list. I haven't seen anyone that is better complete player at 43 DE. I also said you wouldn't agree because you don't know nfl player when you see one.

Takes more than being a 1 trick pony.

Dupree I think will go 1st round as a 34 OLB. A team will reach on his size speed combo like phili did with marcus smith

Unless you have some source I'm unaware of there is only 1 game on the internet to watch of Dupree from 2014.

So uhh....yeah you need your eyes checked. Good game by Dupree there. 1 sack and at least 4 or 5 times he cause the Qb to move his feet I counted, at least 2 of which came after the o lineman got their hands on him.

Just Just agree Just agree to disagree. Just agree to disagree. Just agree to disagree For You Just agree to disagree For You think dupree is worthy of being a 1st round 43 DE and I don't think he is a 1st round 43 DE.

Enough if us talking about this.

He looked reasonably good in that game. He looked better than when I saw him in another game awhile back.

For those of you interested in this type of thing, Texas DT Malcolm Brown should have a good test tonight against an Arkansas O Line that outweighs any NFL O Line this year.

Arkansas has two very good guards in true sophomore Denver Kirkland (6-5/337) and redshirt junior Sebastian Tretola(6-5/350).

He looked reasonably good in that game. He looked better than when I saw him in another game awhile back.

See I don't think he did. Vs a bad QB and OL I expect more. Was his 1 sack where he beat his guy or was it just a mother coverage sack. Also look how manu time he was stood up and done. Look at hoa many times they ran at him.

He made his first play on the 3rd snap where he was standing up and came untouched and rushed the throw. Again that's standing up not down as a DE. Why I say he is a 34 OLB and not 43DE. He's faster standing.

His next play came at 1:55 where again as in he came wide stanning up rushing. He rushed the pass again. Ag as in this is where he is best.when he lines up over a OT with his hand in the dirt he can come clean and has no other rush moves to get by. If he can't beat youwiyou with speed he's Dr one until he finally fights off and gets a coverage sack.

Again his half sack was where he was standing again and #3 came off a corner blitz got there before Dupree did. Both the CB and Dupree came untouched.

Again the next play he was standing and lined up ride and got pressure.

But next play standing again was a run and he didn't hold the edge and RB went right by him.set the edge he would have stopped the run but he crashed the middle and got blocked out.

At 4:18 standing again he gets pressure but it was a screen right at dupree spo. I've noticed othere teams do this. They game plan Dupree is going to rush fast and not read the play. They run several screens at his side.

At 6:53 he makes a TFL onot the RB again stanight get up and came untouched.

At 7:14 standing again wide in a 9 he c a me around DT he edge making the QB rush out the pocket. Then at 7:25 after the QB ran around for 10 seconds Dupree got the sack.

I've watched a lot of Kentucky football. I live in nashville. I've seen almost all his games and 4 in person. Never impressed me.Never was that guy that separated himself and you ask, who I should that.

My problem with dupree is that he's just fast and a pure 34 OLB. Very time I see him vs a good team with his hand in the dirt he gets stopped cold. We don't run the 34 anymore. He's not a good 43 DE. That's just my opinion. To each their own.
I think a 34 team will take him in the 1st. Reminds me a lot of Marcus Smith.

Is Perryman expected to go 2nd round? Would love to add him to our LB corps.
I would take any of those top 4 OLBs if one should fall to us in the second.

This year's DE class is pretty weak I think. I don't particularly like any of htem.

I just got back from watching the Washington Huskies 3-hour practice up close.

Shaq Thompson, who I've seen at various camps since his junior year in HS, is as advertised...athletic, quick, strong. On one scrimmage play, he blitzed the A gap and pushed a much bigger guard about five yards back into the QB, killing the play. He will be long gone before we pick; he is going to be a NFL difference maker.

Danny Shelton is walking around with two tree trunks for legs. Still think he fits a need for us at the bottom of the 1st round.

I really enjoyed watching Hau'oli Kikaha practice. He's a Romo-like class clown and enjoys messing with his teammates and keeping them loose in practice. I guess there are still some injury concerns since he wore a yellow jersey(no contact) for half of the practice. In 7-on-7's and then in Team, he took off the yellow jersey and went full speed. He is definitely explosive, leans well, and is stronger than I would have guessed. I wish he was heavier, but I could still him being a pass-rushing RDE.

A lesser known player is cornerback Travell Dixon who played for our defensive coordinator before transferring to Washington. I've seen him before in civilian clothes and thought he was an awfully big corner (6-1/195), but he definitely looks the part on the field. Travell said he will playing in the NFLPA Bowl on January 17th.
