First: Romo got trumped by his back and not Dak.
Second: Romo is our past and was a hell of a QB for our team.
Third: Dak is our present and has proven to be a winner.

I am a huge fan of Romo and even like him over Aikman. However I like Dak as well as he is a fighter and a winner. His skill set might not be Romo caliber yet, but I am sure it will get there. I dont know why we have to hate one QB just because we like the other better. Aikman delivered SBs to us but had an excellent team and coaching surrounding him. Romo carried this team on his back for years. Yes there were mistakes made at critical points in his career but the man played his heart out for this team. He was stuck with a sub par defense for years and Garrett as his coach. Dak stormed in to this league and has a nice supporting cast of team players around him. This year the defense should take another step towards being a solid unit and our O line would be better. Let's see what Dak can do with that. Even though he still has Garrett as his coach and a rookie OC, I am rooting for him to be that elite QB this year.

Love both guys. I never considered Romo to be elite. 5-10 is where I had him. I don't think Dak will ever be elite ever. 5-10 would be his sweep spot eventually.

Dak earned staying in his rookie year. Hard to pull a guy on a 11 game win streak.

That being said, Romo decided to hang it up and go into the booth. Probably a good decision based on his back. But he had another year left on his contract. Probably could have gotten a deal with another team. I would have liked to see him to a more complete team and compete for the title he never was able to get here with Jerry and Garrett bumbling it.

Wentz is only 3rd, because of all the Wentz band-aids they sold to Philllie fans, :lmao:

Dak and Wentz really stick out like sore thumbs on the list... maybe they are counting each can of Chunky Soup as a licensed NFL product?

The original list includes the top 50 players in merch sales. After no appearances on the list since he’s been in the league, Amari was able to slide into spot #30.

I think he’ll be much higher by seasons end

The Jone$ hit the lotto on these two regardless if they ever win a championship. Popularity is driving the interest and our current ownership is winning despite their dysfunctional football operations.

Dallas Cowboys have evolved from a franchise whose popularity was built from success on the field.

More evidence that beyond a handful of Romo cry babies trolls on a chat room, the rest of the fan base can easily see what a great young QB we have in Dak.
Just a few select examples I could find from a quick google search, read the comments (reactions) of each article. I do not mean to offend or annoy anyone, take what you want from the comments..
