After what we have seen today - lets guess on the open Market what TO could sign. Of course all behavior clauses in so lets talk Turkey.

$15M S/B and a 5 year deal
1 $3M
2 $5M
3 $6M
4 $7M
5 $8M

Around a $45M deal and $15M upfront. 2006 of about $6M is about what I see market bearing. Think we go all in on this?

I dont think we go 5 years with TO. He is already 32. I am looking for something along the lines of a 3 year deal, with the lasst year an option year. SB of around 10million.. with Low base,, High incentives the first year, good base , good incentive 2 year ,, and really good base, low incentive 3 year if we take the option on it. All in All.. around 3 year 27 million deal.

I could swear he'll be 34 by opening day.

This is his last big contract.

I think he'll want a 5 year deal, with a nice chunk up front (which you can afford), and the some guarenteed loot on the backend.

Fosier commanded a $5M SB - I have to expect TO to be commanding more than a $10M SB?

Thoughts on what it will be?

Last I heard was Kansas City was only interested in a one year deal. I think TO is at the end of the line when it comes to big contracts, I'd be surprised if he landed that big of a deal with any team.

Everyone is talking about our OLD WR's and you guys want one just as old that comes with more baggage then a 747 full of women just back from Paris.

Terrell Owens is in better shape than nearly any wide receiver in the NFL. I think there is some leeway when it comes to physical condition.

He'll be 32 'til the last few weeks of the 2006 season.

i see us offering about a ten to twelve bonus range about a five year deal about thrity million total. the contract will be backloaded in the last two years to protect us if in about two years when he starts to decline and show what a pain in the *** he will become. then we can release him and when the cap increases we will be able to handle his cap hit. i will still go on record as wanting owens. we need someone who has is a playmaker. i have a feeling that keyshawn will get released if and when we sign owens. we will not renegotiate johnsons contract because really to and keyshawn are the same type of receiver with owens be alot faster then johnson.

With the 30% rule on contract increases, that means larger signing bonuses. Which is what we are seeing now.
No matter what age TO is, he still has that 747...

Thanks, but NO thanks. The "headaches" are not worth that cash IMO.

Who would you rather spend that much cash($2.5 mill+) on? t/o or Vinateri?

Knowing the baggage t/o would bring to the locker room, Adam may be a better decision.

$12-$15M I say thats market

Also on the record I want nothing to do with TO. He';s going to cost someone with all this cap $$$$ floating around.

Of course assuming Eagles don't trade or take him off market to bust his chops.

Right on! And, the new CBA extension essentially "reversed" the arbitrator's ruling (in Philly's favor) so that you cannot suspend a player for bad behavior.
Also, you cannot ask for (or put into his contract) any language that asks for his signing bonus back!

This won't work, either. Per the new CBA extension, NO MORE than a 30% increase in salary each year.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

And if this tidbit is correct (apologies in advance, if that is the case), please provide me with some links to at least halfway credible sources.
