Okay, our defense has its 3rd meltdown, the oline can't run block for either back and TO can't a ball.

What do you do ?

Sorry, I was never a TO beliver, someone has to take my wrath.

Those drops are just killers.

Cut him right now. I know it sounds drastic but it is a move for next year.

Lets see what our offense can do without him against Detroit and whatever playoff game we are in. Give the Hurds/Austin a chance to get some playing time.

Who wants him next year ? Maybe I'm just venting and I know he doesn't play defense, but lets do it now and start next year without him ?

Merry X'mas, now I will put on my Whoville face and sing X'mas carols not caring if I got my one wanted wish this X'mas....

And a happy new year to all !

OUr Number 1 receiver............if TO is our number one, then that says it all. The man is gutless.........he runs all his pass patterns too close to the sideline, drops perfectly thrown passes, doesn't fight for the ball and stands there and watches the other team make an interception.

If catches a couple of those throws, maybe we get the momentum going or started. He lost us the Washington game..............he catches that bomb today, and it's a TD, and who knows what happens next.

Defend him all you want........but I hope he is gone next year.

For one thing, I want him next year, he leads the NFL in TDs, how many WRs have we had that have done that thru 15 weeks, possibly the whole regular season. Plus after an offseason of rehab on his hand(s)...he will be able to catch a ball better next season. He wont complain about money this offseason because he got what he wanted. If he does stir up some BIG controversy, then i would say cut him, but only if its drastic.

Agreed - you dont't cut the #1 WR right before the playoffs. Get real.

Saying that. I am not making excuses for Owens. The fact of the matter is the guy is playing w/ a severed tendon in his hand. They went over how he was having to catch the ball w/o using his fingers. Most of the time he is palming w/ both hands. This is leading to increased drops.

Remember this. T.O. could have opted for season ending surgery and we would not even be in the position we are in now. Think about that before posting this stuff.

He still leads the NFL in TD's

Owens is not the problem. The problem is our D cannot stop anyone. It can't stop the huge pass play. It cant stop folks on 3rd down. Over and over the Eagles pounded us on 3rd down.

It starts on Defense.

Brillant is not how we played...Sometimes you need to shake something up. I'm not a very drastic poster, I'll let my record speak for me. Just how I feel right now.

TO does not "Fight" for this team. I would rather see a Hurd or Austin fight for a win and lose than TO, with all of his talent, not give his all, nochallant...

We have a young team still, let the young guys grow with the team ! Cut TO, Bledsoe and Rivera. Lets put that money to good use next year.

I want some fighters here.
