Trade Back and grab Elam

I'm thinking Dallas trades back, which would me we'd be in a position to grab my pet cat, Matt Elam before Baltimore snatches him up.

How would you feel about this?

But to seriously answer your question, I would only trade back 2-5 spots and I don't view Elam as a candidate in the top 25. Too many questions about his ability to cover in my book.

Dallas trades 18th overall to Minnesota for 25th overall and a 4th. Minnesota gets their pick of Ogletree/Te'o in front of NYG/Chicago who may take one or both. Dallas gets their choice of Cyprien(Preferably),Elam,Reid at 25 and an additional pick.

Perfect scenario if our guys are gone. Address Safety, grab an additional pick

Why would you only trade back 2-5 spots if Elam was the target?
There's a chance he does not go until 30 or later.

You should get Minny's 3rd rounder (83) for dropping from 18 to 25. them.
So even better for that deal.
