So Eagles with Maclin...Denver with Dan...Baltimore with Pitta.......

Quick...how do we blame all this on Woicik and Jerry?

How about we worry about making the Super Bowl before we worry about helping an AFC team? Just a thought.

Ya. Let's help a POWER AFC team 1st and foremost. Then WE can think about our own situation. Just a thought. Like I said, why help Peyton and Denver period? I could care less if we go 0-16 or 16-0 and the Superbowl.

Ya can't fix stupid, bro.

I get the frustration with the Cowboys over the past 3 seasons. I get that.

I understand the frustration with the offensive line. Folks see the secondary and the receiving corps getting additional help and other than Frederick they don't see much... And they don't accept Livings and Bern as being anything more than scrubs (I'm not getting into if they are or are not).

But what I think is more aggravating that someone who constantly pumps "The Boys are going to the SuperBowl!!!!" is the person who takes the exact opposite track... and if the Cowboys aren't first then they're last– in everything! To say that no one on the Cowboy offensive line is no better than any 3rd stringer on Denver's roster is a sign of frustration, but it also colors the person who says it as being somewhat irrational.

By definition trades are executed with the intent of helping both teams....so you're against the Cowboys making a trade they believe makes the team better in the long run?

That sounds....not smart.

No, you have faith in the guy you drafted. We all would like more depth but not at the cost of holding onto players until you lose them for nothing. I didn't say I wanted to make a move. I said I would move Costa if Denver offered value.

Overrating current backups? Jerry Jones generation.....

You said you would give him up for a bag of balls. That's value? If that's value then what's the difference if we lose him? Kind of contradicted yourself.

Does anyone really believe Denver would offer a 4th for a backup interior lineman? Teams regularly draft starting OL in the middle rounds. Sounds about as unrealistic as us trading away an OL right now.

Once again read my post. Why help Peyton and Denver with center help?

What part of because we would be helping ourselves don't you understand?

How is it helping us losing a past/possible future starter this season only to get a low rd pick next? Chances are that future pick doesn't even make this team.

I know Costa isn't great but there are worse lineman on this team, by a wide margin too. Costa adds decent depth, no reason to weaken it even more.

What part of when you trade a player for a pick you obviously value the pick more than the player don't you understand?

I understand it completely but in this instance, I value Costa more than that pick.

Tone it down some, no one likes a smart*** know-it-all. The least you can do is respect us in your replies.

I tried that. And got hyperbole like Denver's 3rd unit is better than our 1st. How do you have meaningful discourse when that is what you get in response?

So I started phrasing my posts in a way that would at least force someone to answer my question.

And what part of helping a contender don't you understand? How is losing our best backup OC, OL depth, exactly HELPING ourselves? Try again Brainiac. And not the "well, we MIGHT get a 6th or 7th round pick". Costa is a player that helps our team now. This year.
