Obviously Dak is having a strong year so far. AND trading Dak is highly unlikely right now. But he will be 33 years old next year. And this might be the high point of his trade value. So I think it is worth a talk.

Would you trade him for Josh Allen? Or whom? Or no one?

First if all this is a crazy question, because, 1) he has a no trade cause, 2) dead money makes it impossible, and 3 )QBs can play well into their late 30's with the current rules protecting them...not to mention you dont trade a QB coming off a potential MVP year. Not to mention the Bills aren't trading Josh Allen.

Bait.

He has no trade value as his salary is much bigger than his ability. We"d have to throw in some draft picks and eat a load of dead money. It would be more economic to simply cut him - we'd save the unguaranteed part of his salary and would keep our draft picks.

Dam is finally looking like a top qb. You don't trade those ever. Go all in on defense and upgrade tackle.

The only reason the Bills trade Josh for Dak is because they're tired of going deep into the playoffs each year and desire a rest.

I just think more teams should go the Stafford-Goff route. Sometimes fresh air leads to good things.

Daks age is also a concern. Quarterbacks have won their first championship in mid to late 30s. But its a short list.

But if he stays, Im not against it. It just means we are giving ourselves a very short runway.

If the Bills won't consider a trade for our quarterback ..... then we probably need to looking at getting a new quarterback.
