Trade Dak Prescott Debate

I've seen one too many "Dak is better than Romo" threads lately, and I don't want to continue that stupid argument. As of today and probably for the next 3 years, Romo is the best player on the team, hopefully Dak is so great that he will be better and then we'd have a great problem in our hands, but in the mean time let's be realistic and be happy with Romo as our field general.

So here's a new debate, I thought of this today:

The Rams, Eagles and Broncos call you today, and they offer you Goff, Wentz and Lynch respectively straight up for Dak. Would you do it? Why, or why not?

I mean, if someone offered a decent 1st rounder for him, maybe. Other than that, I'd rather him sit and learn behind Romo for a couple years, and hopefully be good when it's his time.

There is no debate, trading Dak for the other rookies is out of the question. They picked their players and the Cowboys got theirs. Everyone must live with the choices they make. Dak has the opportunity to learn under an Elite QB while the others have already begun their crash and burn courses. I think Dak's upside is looking greater than the others.

As a fan I can't even choose but I can't imagine trading a QB that has shown this kind of promise early on for guys that have looked like typical rookies and struggled.

i would say no, but I might live to regret it.......Goff could still be worth 2 #1s next year...fans always over-rate the future and under-rate the present...see it in fantasy all the time
