Trade Deadline push to Week 8

jerry/jenkins is liking this. Hopefully someone will need a cb and will give us a 2nd for jenkins...lol...I would take it in run unless we are injured at cb and need him.

Probably a 2nd if they package him with Dexter Coakley and Rashard Lee.

Makes sense. I wouldn't mind pushing it back any further.

Dexter is worth at least a 2nd on his own.

long overdue. Should have happened as soon as they went to 16 games with a bye.

What a career ReShard Lee had. I do remember he was pretty good in Madden though.

ReShard Lee signed as an undrafted free agent in 2003 with the Dallas Cowboys, but after needing arthroscopic surgery was released with an injury settlement. He was re-signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2004 but was released before the start of the 2005 season. He then signed with the Buffalo Bills, but they also released him before the start of the 2005 season. He then signed with the Green Bay Packers and played in a few games. After being injured he was released by the team before the end of the 2005 season. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders in 2006, and played for them that season. In 2007 he hurt his knee during practice and was waived. When he cleared waivers he was put on Injured Reserve and released with an injury settlement.

That's pretty wordy for a HOF plaque.

I usually don't go out of the way to bash Jerry, but waiting after the trade deadline last year to cut Choice was clearly a bad decision. IIRC a third round pick was offered for Choice. That third rounder would have made this draft even better. A fourth or fifth would have been better than nothing. That decision still irks me.
