And if Lynch gets taken before 15? Still like it if we're taking Darron Lee because everyone else is gone?

Based on who we brought in and where they're likely to get drafted, I don't think we're entertaining a drop that far. I think we'd trade with Tampa at 9 or Chicago at 11 before trading with Tennessee. We'd be happy just picking up one 2nd (39 or 41 respectively). Both teams have severe LT needs whereas Tennessee is survivable with Taylor Lewan.

San Diego could very well take Tunsil and make this all moot anyway. They only have King Dunlap, over 30 and frequently injured.

They're bringing in 30 guys. How could that list indicate how willing they are to move down 10+ spots?

Fuller, Lawson, Clark, Treadwell, Dodd, Hargraeves, Lynch - at least a couple of those guys will be there at 15.

So let me ask this, if a first rounder next year worth moving down three spot (by the value chart I mean). Because that is essentially what they'd be doing.

For the record, if SD doesn't trade out of 3, this is what I think will happen.

They will go with a different OT. They can move anywhere they want in the draft so giving up 2 2nd round picks they just got doesn't make sense

I don't think they'd give up both their No. 2s, but a No. 2 and No. 3? Would Dallas make such a trade?

in this scenario the titans didn't just pick up a first next year, they also picked up a third this year and next as well. But to answer your question, yes it is worth it when you were going to draft the same guy anyways.

This deserves its own thread tbh.. Ramsey still on board and Titans call offering two 2nd rounders and 3rd would you pull the trigger?

As fast as Jerry Jones can slur his words after a shot of Johnny Walker whiskey.

If they were ever truly considering Tunsil at #1, then it makes a ton of sense. They get the guy they wanted, and get a future 1st round pick and two 3rds for a 4th/6th. They essentially move down to 4 rather than 15. There's a world of difference between Tunsil and guys who will be there at 15.

Anything is possible but don't see the Titans moving to 4 for Tunsil

Fuller, Lawson, Clark, Treadwell, Dodd, Hargraeves, Lynch - at least a couple of those guys will be there at 15.

For the invited top players, they fell into two main groups - guys who are candidates to be drafted near the top twelve or so picks and guys who might slip through to later 1st/early 2nd.

There's a big gap between the two groups filled with players who didn't visit -- Darron Lee, Eli Apple, Mac Alexander, William Jackson, Reggie Ragland, Emmanuel Ogbah, Leonard Floyd, Jarran Reed, Corey Coleman, Noah Spence, Andrew Billings and some OL prospects. Some were eligible for Dallas Day and didn't even get invited to that.

If there were a few of those guys on the invites, I'd say a drop down to 15 is more plausible. Instead they brought nearly everyone who's likely to go top 12 (except for Jack and Tunsil) and literally nobody from this other tier. And then the next tier was filled with guys with a high potential to slide into the late first or be around at pick 34 - Robinson, Clark, Dodd, Henry, Cook. Non-pass rush DTs drop. Older non-QBs drop.

Dallas would need to have spectacular intel to risk going to 15. The risk would be like having 19 in Black Jack and saying, "hit me." It's possible you get an ace or a two, but the odds are really bad. It's not like drafting at 18 and seeing a bunch of crazy selections getting made ahead of you. At 4, it's unlikely we'll see anything crazy before we draft that would push down players we've graded highly.

I just heard the titans GM mention that trading back up for them is still a possibility,I really hope We can fleece them for 3 picks if Tunsil drops down,

Sad, but probably true. They can get Jack Conklin of MSU or Decker of OSU at 15 and they are SOLID OT's. Not at Tunsil's level but very solid.

Are both quarterbacks gone by pick #4?

Also I think of Tunsil was there guy they dont move. LT of skill is still #1 overall worthy, especially if they have a franchise guy to protect already

Besides they have Lewan at LT. Most likely they will be looking for RT in the draft. .......Tunsil is LT and do they really want to switch up their OL and give up 2 2nd rounders. ...nah not happening

Not going to happen. Titans aren't trading back up until top 5.

unlike most scenarios, this isn't far fetched. If Tunsil is who they wanted at #1, they still make out like bandits in that they have the extra #3 and the 1 and #3 next year. However, I'd want the two highest of Tennessee's 2nd rounders, not the 2 from St. Louis.

edit: actually that trade is way into our favor for Tennessee to make. Their 2nd and 3rd rounder is far more realistic. We even really come out ahead if we get #33 & #64, but to still get their guy, they may
