unlike most scenarios, this isn't far fetched. If Tunsil is who they wanted at #1, they still make out like bandits in that they have the extra #3 and the 1 and #3 next year. However, I'd want the two highest of Tennessee's 2nd rounders, not the 2 from St. Louis.

edit: actually that trade is way into our favor for Tennessee to make. Their 2nd and 3rd rounder is far more realistic. We even really come out ahead if we get #33 & #64, but to still get their guy, they may

They traded down cause they want a RT to book end with Lewan not a LT and move Lewan to RT. This trade isn't going to happen. .......well highly unlikely

whether they want to trade up or not, if this is their logic, it's really flawed. LT and RT become closer and closer in value every year. LT will always retain an edge due to most QBs being right handed, but they should not look to add a RT prospect. Add the best OT prospect you can and work out the details later, whether Tunsil plays LT or RT.

If Tunsil is their guy, I doubt they'll risk losing him for the cost difference between the 4th and 5th pick. Looking at the chart - I know, I know - it's 100 points. Or an early 4th round pick.

If the Titans do want to move back up for Tunsil, 4 is very good spot for that to happen.

I totally agree we would be a good spot to trade, but if you like Tunsil that much, why trade that far down?

Y
This deserves its own thread tbh.. Ramsey still on board and Titans call offering two 2nd rounders and 3rd would you pull the trigger?

ou must mean including their first rounder at #15. no way we drop out of the first round all together. No way at all.

Interesting trade that has turned the draft on its head now.

IF Tunsil gets past the Chargers at #3 ( 50/50 ) chance IMO we have a massive decision to make.....

Smith-Collins-Frederick-Martin-Tunsil....

Is one ****en hell of an OL that are all very young i will take in a heartbeat, BUT a serious trade down can happen here with the Titans who can trade with us to grab the player they were always taking at #1 anyway in Tunsil at #4 while we swap first rounders with them and take some 2nd rd picks as well they got from the Rams etc.

I can see the upside on both deals for us if the Titans pick up the phone IF Tunsil slides to #4 and i think the Chargers take Ramsay.

This years draft is going to be huge!

The thing is .... how often do you get to pick a top 5 player? The Cowboys haven't been this high in how many years? I don't know if you should give that up. Especially for guys you're just going to lose to free agency during the future Jacoby Brissett-Nick Foles quarterback controversy.

You need guys who are really special players, too.

It wouldn't be a controversy Brissett hands down. Taking Tunsil it is almost certain he would leave in free agency after his rookie contract.

Tunsil is available at 4
Titans give 15 and Rams two 2's for 4
Titans get the player they would have taken at 1 plus salary relief, an extra 1 and two 3's

Cowboys take Lynch and saturate the defense with 4 top 70 picks or
Drop down with Arizona or Denver and end up with 7 top 100 picks and play into the strength of the draft the 2-3 rounds

I was thinking the same thing.
But more on the get higher number 2 that is the titans and the future number 3 from the Rams.

I'd rather have the 43rd and 45th picks than the 33rd and future 3rd.

But with all the holes Tennessee has - I think they would be more willing to part with one of the second rounder's this year and the future pick next year.

But as a Cowboys fan, I'd rather have picks in this draft than some 3rd rounder a year from now.

Are both quarterbacks gone by pick #4?

Are both QB gone at 4 ? Lets say Rams go with Wentz, although still not sure they don't take Goff he may sell more jerseys. Then by some miracle Cleveland makes a good decision and takes Tunsil. If SD takes Ramsey then yes one of the QB fall to us. It is our best case scenario to trade back.
