Or what? Matt Cassell is going to take his job?

I think people need to rally around Weeden, accept that he is our quarterback until Romo gets back and root for the guy.

Then again, this is the forum that thought "every QB on the Texans roster is better than Weeden", so I am probably expecting to much.

I'm rallying but I think he's on a short leash.

People clamoring for Hoyer as the b/u was one of the low points of the offseason. I thought most people were smarter than that.

Romo is out. Dez is out. Witten is hurt. The offense could use a proven horse. Someone DC's need to account for in preparation. A guy like Forte could make a world of difference over the next 2 months. Not something you need to pull the trigger on, but if he is available and the price is reasonable it should be considered IMO

If it gets to the point where we are down or its a shootout, the guy in your avatar will fold like an accordion.

It won't. Not like Matt Ryan is exactly reliable on the road.

No No No stop with wanting to trade for every over the hill veteran. What are we the Colts thinking signing some over the hill used to be good player is going to solve our problems. Ride it out with Randle, DMC, CMike, and Dunbar.

I'm starting to get concerned with the running game, especially without Romo and the passing game to set it up for success. A running back that can better carry the offense in tandem with the defense could buy us the game or two that we need when the Calvary returns.

I'm still waiting to see what Cmike has. After that we can talk.

This team has done great at talent evaluation and covering bases but screwed the pooch this offseason at RB and QB!

I'm really hoping he's activated this week but with 3 qbs on the roster idk if he dresses but should now that Dunbar has been taking snaps at receiver, I'm excited for Dunbar though, Falcons had trouble covering sproles.

If I'm making a trade for a RB. Only one at thr 30 year old marker comes to mind. Other than him. I'd love to get Lamar Miller. But this isn't madden.

Kinda of done with trades. It all smells of desperation at this point in the season. Never a good position of leverage from which to negotiate

He's 30 and getting ready to be 31 yr old running back. He's over the hill and I'm not giving up anything for him.

He is on the last year of his contract, had 1000 yards last year and over 100 catches, had 140 yards rushing last week and is 29 not 30.

Not exactly over the hill

Just activate C-Mike. Cheaper, easier and you don't have to give up anything more.

Not exactly over the hill

1000 yards isn't hard anymore and he got that on 3.9 years. 29, 30 it doesn't matter. He isn't worth giving up a pick for when we have younger backs that can do what he does. There is no need for him.

If this team wasn't going to commit several million to Murray, why would they commit millions to Forte who several years older?

AND they just picked up Michael.

No way.
