1000 yards isn't hard anymore and he got that on 3.9 years. 29, 30 it doesn't matter. He isn't worth giving up a pick for when we have younger backs that can do what he does. There is no need for him.

Plus he owed 8m for the year, no thanks. Very Eddie Georgeish.

I'm really hoping he's activated this week but with 3 qbs on the roster idk if he dresses but should now that Dunbar has been taking snaps at receiver, I'm excited for Dunbar though, Falcons had trouble covering sproles.

Cassel should be deactivated this game. Tomorrow is Wed. There is no way he needs to come to this game.

Exactly tomorrow is Wednesday when they install gameplan although I think it be 50/50 of him dressing out just cause of the QB situation.

I don't know the specifics of his contract but now would be a good time to get this player at a discount price.

The Bears stink and Jeremy Langford is showing promise.

Kinda weird how the Bears were playing Langford a lot this past Sunday as well.

I think the Cowboys really need to get a live-action look at C-Mike before they look at bringing in another runningback.

Could save the season too having a superstar tailback with a average QB.

Can you imagine only losing 3 games without Romo?

Maybe we should have thought about that before the start of the season rather than going in with two average backs and putting way too much on Romo. Maybe if we have taken the position seriously we'd still have Romo healthy right now.

What's the point if the offensive line isn't blocking for the backs we do have right now? All of a sudden they're going to start blocking for Forte?

Fair point.

If the Bears want to have a fire sale and give Forte away, I am certainly listening.

Forte has already beaten the odds by staying productive for as long as he has, but he is on the wrong side of 30, and sooner than later Father Time will catch up with him. We're averaging just under 400 yards a game in Total Offense, and our trio of RBs have accounted for nearly half of those yards in some fashion. The team has already signed a really good prospect/insurance policy in Christine Michael, I see no need to panic over our RB situation. And I don't see this organization throwing away 3rd or 4th round picks to acquire any player on the wrong side of 30.

It won't. Not like Matt Ryan is exactly reliable on the road.

If out defense can play like it has been then they're going to be given a few chances for turnovers. Ryan will give them chances, without question.

not at this time. although bears are 0-2, its too early in the season and the price will be too high. we can wait a couple of few weeks if need be....our problems aren't the running game, its our QB.

I don't know if the Cowboys would take him even if they gave him away because they would have to pay the remaining amount of his 7M salary.

He is a free agent after the season, so no team would give up much of anything for him.

The RBs have not been the problem for the Cowboys. They are generally getting what is available based on the blocking and sometimes more.

Does anyone subscribe to Cowboys Central? There's a teaser article title I cant access that reads:

From inside Valley Ranch, we investigate the Cowboys' Matt Forte 'trade talk,' which is occurring just as Dallas creates a roster spot with the release of D-lineman Davon Coleman.

No I would not trade for him. And I dont think the Bears trade him anyways. They will get a higher compensatory pick for him than they will get in a trade

If I'm making a trade for a RB. Only one at thr 30 year old marker comes to mind. Other than him. I'd love to get Lamar Miller. But this isn't madden.

Have you seen Lamar Miller play this year?
