Whatever they were trying to do, they failed at miserably. Just like this entire draft.

I'm going to go ahead and say it. They were not prepared for this draft. These are not the same types of decisions they have been making for 2-3 years. Hopefully some of these guys can play football and prove many of us wrong but I think we will look back on this draft as a big missed opportuinty.

:hammer:

whoever designed our draftboard was a round off.

It has nothing to do with it being sexy. We have a hole at safety and we have a hole at ILB. We havent filled either. We probably will before the draft is over, but I dont think a mid 5th round pick is going to make any impact this upcoming season.

uh, Jason Williams

Jason Williams will push Carpenter for backup ILB and the nickel LB spot. Sensabaugh is the starting S alongside Hamlin.

There are no holes, perhaps there is not as much depth as you'd like, but no holes. What safety do you prefer in the 5th?

Of course, we want that 5th round pick that will become All Pro next year. I just can't remember his name.

I really wanted Rashad Johnson I think we would have been able to come in at FS next year and make an impact back there in centerfield.

I can't fault you for wanting Johnson, not only smart and a ballhawk, but he was great value falling as far as he did. Only got 2 pet cats myself. Can't get them all unfortunately.

Yeah I really dont like Hamlin though, Michael or Ken.

I didnt know Jason Williams is slotted to move inside, so my original statement was a bit off. I like the pick if he's moved inside, especially with his nice 40 time. And Wade has said he can really hit.
