for Hall possibly, for PacMan you are out of your mind:star:
Hey Jerry said that this team is built to handle a few problem players. I think Jones is worth the risk. Not only is he a great CB, he can be the PR as well. He can replace Fair Catch Crayton. Pac Man's talent is not in question. Its just his 10 cent head.

Hell, didn't AI pay all of his buddies 50k a year to stay away?

The trade deadline in the NFL isn't like other sports. Mid-season trades happen because of injuries mostly that I've seen. They usually don't happen so a team can actually get better. The reason is (IMO), because draft choices are held in extremely high regard.
Unless you are the little general.

and it would take a GM with a 10 cent head to even consider Pac Trash at this point...the guy cant help anybody now, and after everything is said and done probably wont be able to help anybody next yr either

on top of not being all that good at CB anyway

Any suggestions on who we should explore if anyone?

I think Jerry and the front office should explore trading for a cornerback for the second half run. The trading deadline falls at a perfect time for us because are bye is coming up and we can get that player ready togo for the rest of our divison games and second half of the season. Here is a list of players that would probably come cheap for a 2nd or 3rd round pick or even give up like a Bobby Carptner. Give one of these cornerbacks that are on a not so good team a chance of playing for a superbowl contender as well. A win win situation. Even having Henry come back teams are starting to see we can't cover with 4 or 5 receviers on the field. Nate Jones just isn't getting the job done. Yea that would move Newman or Reeves in the slot if Henry came back but still I would feel more comfortable with a more expierenced nickle cornerback out there.

Here is a list of corners I was thinking about.
Terrence McGee
Darrelle Revis
Andre Dyson
Fabian Washington
Mike McKenzie- sure he has a large salary though.

Trade Ellis. He's old and can play only when the owner tosses him some cash. Ellis might be good enough to get us a serviceable corner or safety.

Given your avatar, this has got to be tongue in cheek.

You never know with Jerry. If he thinks we need one player to get to the top, he may do something. But like it was stated above, its tough to do in this age of Cap and free agaency.

I think Tank was the only deal Dallas could afford for a player that could help us this season. I hope he helps us but expect at best he will provide depth until next season when he has camp to get in the groove.

Till the draft I do not see trade as worth while. We dance with who brung us this far.

No actually I wouldn't mind Hall at all. Not as our #1, but certainly as a #2/#3. He would give us more flexibility.Really it would depend on Henry's status.

To be perfectly honest, depending on the true status of pac man I would prefer him since he is an excellent CB and a PR threat.

Wow. do you even think that Adam knows the difference between a cover 2 and a man D ?

Anyone with speed is a PR threat.

I wonder if N.E. wants to trade Brady. ;)
