What compensation do you think the Cowboys would require of the Rams to move down to #15? I am guessing a king's ransom that would involve at least #15 and next year's first, or maybe the next two first round picks (potentially more.
The first question I have is would we be willing to move down to #15? I think the answer is : "Possibly", if we don't like one of the QBs and there is not someone we are in love with at the position.
Most likely the Rams are somewhat desperate to draft a QB. They would likely need to move ahead of the 49ers and Eagles to get one of the concensus top two.
Ironically, if Cleveland selects a QB at #2 it might actually drive up the value of the #4 pick if the Chargers don't trade back and take a player who is not a QB at #3. That value goes up even more if the QB selected by Cleveland isn't the QB targeted by the team moving up.
San Francisco might be a potential trade partner, but obviously the compensation would be much less to trade down to them. Then again, if the Rams are wanting to move up and pay a kings ransom to trade up, it might drive the cost of moving up for San Fran and require them to overpay to move up. That would probably be a best case scenario for us.
