I doubt this deal happens - wouldn't mind pursuing him in the offseason if his stock comes down, isn't franchised and ends up going for money like Plax got back in 2004/5 when he left Pitt.

He could be an ideal #2 to play beside TO, but he isn't a #1 and we shouldn't trade high picks and give a back contract to a guy with such marginal production.

i think he could be a #1 WR and the marginal play is from sorry QB play;)

That might be what they want, but they will get nothing after this season when Roy is a FA and he moves on.

Agree. Are we going to get a proven WR with a #28-32 pick next April? Williams would be worth that pick, and maybe Dexter Coakley as well!
