On the Cowboys' offensive line. Is it the best offensive line ever?

Travis Frederick: I don't think there's any reason that we should deserve to be called that. Anybody that's making that assumption should study more about who the greatest offensive line is and what that's like. We're not there yet. We're not even close. The best thing we can do is to continue to work and continue to improve.

I sort of feel sorry for Collins making this remark, but, this line is going to teach him how to work at being the best, and I bet he will!! He is going to be a contributor to this oline sooner than later.

I agree, and I think that he is going to be taken down a notch, and then brought back up by the guys on the oline.

Think about it! I mean, it's been a looong time since the Cowboys have had an oline like this! And they are all young!

I'm not even sure this offensive line is better than the 1992 Dallas Cowboys o-line. What has everyone excited is that they're the best in the league and they're young. The ages of prospective starters are 24, 26, 24, 24 and 31. The 31 is Doug Free. Throw Collins in there - he's only, get this, 21!

Why don't we just paint targets on the backs of all the OL, RBs and QBs..

that would be better than 3" headlines proclaiming them the Best Ever in History?

That way every team and sportswriter can take dead aim and fire away?

and we have a tiny bit of success and all of a sudden..

people and players can't shut up?

Obviously you need skins on the wall for even to have an argument on this......so I agree it is premature to call it that. But keeping this unit together should be a sight to see.

Skill position players can be interchangeable at the NFL level, the OL is where you win or lose.
