Bills running back Travis Henry suffered a broken right leg on Buffalo's first possession and will likely miss the remainder of the season.
The fourth-year back was injured at the end of a 5-yard completion from Drew Bledsoe on the opening drive. Working out of the shotgun on third-and-3 at the Seahawks 31 yard line, Bledsoe dumped the ball off to Henry for the first down. Six plays later, Willis McGahee ran two yards off left tackle and into the end zone to give the Bills the first points of the game.
Henry started the first four games of the 2004 season but was held out of the Miami game on Oct. 17 with a foot injury. He returned the following week but carried the ball just seven times for 27 yards against a tough Ravens run defense.
McGahee, the team's top pick in the 2003 draft, took over the starting role the following week vs. Arizona and Henry's role has been limited since.
In the four games prior to Seattle, Henry carried the ball 14 times for 53 yards while on the receiving end of three passes that totaled 11 yards. In 10 games this season Henry has rushed for 326 yards.
A 2001 second-round pick, Henry rushed for 1,356 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. He enjoyed his best season in 2002, rushing for 1,438 yards and 13 touchdowns.
man this hurts there chances of getting a high draft choice for him if they decided to trade him. the mcgahee pick is looking better and better every day
