I agree. I think what gets asked of Romo is a bit much, yes he has made mistakes so have other QB and still went on to win critical games that is what defense is for. Romo shares in it but is not a reason why this team has not achieved what most want. I think Romo gives us a chance to do big things but it will take a lot of other players to produce to get to where we want to be

Romo just hasnt gotten the job done this yr. Too many 3 and outs. And if you really pay attention to the games this yr, most of Dallas scoring drives that arent in desperation mode have come on short fields created by turnovers from the defense or great returns by Harris. Romo has created very few long drives this yr. Im not even being as critical as i want to be. Because i think hes overrated and overpaid.

He can get the job done,but to say he hasnt been at the start of alot of problems this yr is flat out homerism. But its not just him its the offense and the coaches. Dropped passes bad timing of calls. Simple system, wrs running bad routes no running game because they dont run. Injuries to rbs.

I actually applaud irvin, faulk and company a few weeks back when they actually blamed the lack of offense on the def being this bad. Theyre the ones who brought up the issues of the 3 and out and dallas leading the league in 3 and outs. What was it like 0-21 before they converted a 3rd down?

theres only been one thing consistent about Romo this yr. His throws low and behind his wrs. If you dont see this every week then ur just blinding yourself to reality. He's just not the same.

When ur taking up 1/6th of the salary cap it dont matter what happens if ur not winning ur going to get the brunt of the blame. Peyton manning used to get crucified every yr until he won a sb. And he had a bad def every yr. Even though they had the #1 off every yr.

I agree in some seasons that the talent isn't there and no QB can be perfect however, Tony's mistakes are his.. The Denver game, he makes a critical mistake. Commanders game last year, he makes a critical mistake. Without those mistakes, They might win they might not but the focus wouldn't be on Tony's mistakes. At least in my eyes.

This debate is tired. Romo is our QB until he retires most likely. He his regarded as a good QB and perception is he can't win the big one, he hasn't yet.

I've actually gotten over the whole Romo thing because the last time we had the best team in football was the mid 90s and we would be worse off with 15 or more other QBs starting for us. That is how bad the QB position is right now or you could say how good Romo really is.

Yes, the Cowboys legitimacy as a top team the last few years has been oversold to us.

Blame Jerrah for that..but it's expected from him.

Romo has played some very poor games and caused many games to be lost because of failures on his part.
