Trent Dilfer - The Cowboys will beat Chargers, Saints and Eagles

Trent Dilfer is on with Collin Cowherd and just said that he thinks we beat the Chargers, Saints and Eagles.

He feels that the Cowboys match up will against the Saints and can move the ball on them.

Wow. Trent must really hate his job at ESPN. We're going to beat the Chargers and Saints in a 6 day span? That would be pretty impressive.

If we beat the Chargers, Saints, and he also thinks we'd beat the Eagles then I'd be hoping for a 4-0 sweep for the end of the season. I think we could take all four teams if they can beat the Chargers and Saints.

I love how people are just writing off the game against the Saints as a loss.

I never in all my years playing competitive sports, mostly basketball and football but some baseball as well, ever went into a game expecting to lose. Not one. One game that stands out was when I was playing against former Virginia Tech running back Mike Imoh in high school. Imoh was about 225 lbs at the time and was the top back in our region, and even seeing him coming around the corner on a sweep didn't stop me from trying my hardest to go up there and make the tackle. I stuck my nose in there and on the first one got run over, but I brought him down. We didn't win, but I wasn't looking at that game on the schedule two weeks prior thinking "there's no way we win that one."

The defeatist attitude by fans on this board disgusts me often, but I guess some don't understand what it means to be a competitor outside of playing Madden on XBox Live. Yes, I'm calling you out; deal with it.

I heard that as well, and he said that he believes that the way to defend the Saints is to have a strong pass rush up the middle which we can do! My fear in that game is the Saints seem to be tough to beat when they are "excited" to play a team.
