Triumph Sports Football Spectacular - December 1, 2007

Triumph Sports ran an autograph signing this week at the Dallas Convention Center. I bought tickets for my family to get some autographs and photo ops. They are having another signing in New Jersey in April and I highly recommend it for those in the Northeast who want to meet some Cowboys. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. I must say that Demarcus Ware is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Next to Rayfield Wright, he is my favorite Cowboy. He's genuine, he's warm, and my girls Jessica and Paige really took to him. T.O. really got a kick out of signing his children’s book for them. I think it broke up the monotony of all the helmets and jerseys he was signing for the adults. Witten is a beast. The guy is huge – he towered over me.. And Randy White is in such good shape, I'm willing to bet he could still make a 53 man roster in the NFL. Here are some of the photos we took from today:

I was laughing when I saw the smiley face. T.O. said, "Paige, I'm gonna draw a smiley face just for you."

The one thing that concerned me was when I noticed Kevin Burnett constantly massaging his right shoulder. He looked like me was in some discomfort. I hope whatever injury he suffered during the Green Bay game heals quickly.

You cant see Randy's arms in the photo, but trust me on this: Randy White is friggin RIPPED!!!! His biceps were enormous. If I wasnt a football fan, I would have thought he was a current player.

LOL!! T.O. drew the 2nd smiley face when my other daughter started complaining that her sister got one and she didn't. So, T.O. drew one for her too. I guess the "T.O. learns to share" book doesn't work too well with my kids.

They had a blast. And my oldest daughter felt the need to make every player aware she just lost one of her bottom teeth.

I was a little hesitant about saying anything about Charles, but a few other people have PMed me and noticed it as well. I was really concerned when I saw Charles Haley yesterday. His movements were very slow, his hands shook, and his speech was slow and deliberate. It reminded me of someone with Parkinson's Disease or someone who is recovering from a stroke. It made me very sad to see him like this, and I really do hope I'm wrong about his health. With everything he went through with his daughter Brianna, he deserves better.

Wow, that's not good, I hate to hear that, Muhammad Ali comes to mind with what you described. He does indeed deserve better as well as anyone does. I hope his situation is really not as bad as it looked, but we all know the toll football can take on the body! I'll pray for him!

Notice that big, nasty Charles Haley does the "smiley face" thing too inside the "C".

I've got a couple of team-signed balls I got at Special Olympics fund raisers back in 93-95, and he always took some ribbing over his "artwork" from someone.
