great more jabs at romo and roy.

mickey says;
feel like superman,you leave and go somewhere else and dont have time to talk

mostly something on the superbowl and acivity today, to me, overwhelming of everyone involved with staubach, wright, tony dorsett, aikman, right on down to other regular people with like 54 mayors etc, just awe inspiring

pat summerall still had clarity with his voice,

smoaky chatted with michael johnson, aikman said jerry would still try to sign him with still as fast as he is , joking here mickey said that aikjman talked about jerry jones

agenda with valley ranch is otas, next week from today, just get one day availiability to watch them ; so hopefully we can see them tuesday and can get info out to you

mickey joked at smoaky that he didnt play at their golf thing there, whats up david,

move prctices to carrolton about 4 miles or so;

when smoaky walked up to aikman, he said things could have been said differntly about roy williams, but roy said, if roy doesnt work out, then its a bad trade, and troy said i wont back down, but my point is i think roy can be a number one wr, but if it doesnt, then one of worst cowboys trades in their history;

smoaky said talking to bunch of cowboys with championship teams; yeah either you have it or you dont; mickey talked about leadership on this team needed sorely on this team, with one particular person in particular with a hint but mickey didnt say the name;

That's the problem with this team. I don't see one player who acts, walks, talks like a leader.

In the past you knew Staubach, Randy White, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin were leaders.

No one on this team gives me that impression.

Someone may emerge during traing camp. I will go out on a limb and say....Roy Williams by mid season will show to be a leader. as well as someone on Defense. Ware by example of his play, but someone else vocally to inspire the team. And not Bradie James, he will be vocal, but as usual to the media, not as a leader. Just as Crayton will spout off to the media, but not considered a leader.

That's my opinion for now, this early in the off season. And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, won't be the first time, or the last. Beside, my excuse is...it's our off season also. :p:

Great leaders are made when teams win a Superbowl. This idea that no leaders are available until then is strange to me, since its mainly media driven drool for good players with big mouths. (Ray Lewis)

I disagree Aikman never played the leader role...that was clearly Irvin...when he left the team Aikman and Smith were still here and they were a different team.

Troy commanded respect in the huddle and was a leader on the field. Irvin was more the rah rah get in your face and motivate you type,,, two different types of leaders,,, but truely leaders...... We don't have either of those types now.

So Witten and Barber don't command respect on the field? I have a feeling Ratliff and Ware take over this defense this year.

Problem is that our most talented guys are not in your face leaders... Newman, Ware, Barber and Witten... Guys that are vocal T. Choice, Scandrick and Bennett are new to the league...

Witten and Barber are respected for their play on the field,, but they are not considered leaders. They lead to a small extent by their play but neither are rally the troops types.

This always kills me. Fans who say a player wasn't a leader when his team mates, to a man, say he was THE leader. I wonder who knows better? The fan, or the guys who played with him?

Aikman led by example, and according to his offensive team mates, was the leader on that unit.
