Troy/Buck: "Murray is going to fumble, if he keeps holding the ball like that."

Or words to that effect from Troy or Buck as Murray fought for additional yardage after a reception in the second half.

I guess if he is still holding the ball like that in the playoffs, it isn't going to change. Lets hope the football gods smile on us.....

I was getting pretty sick of Joe Buck comments through out the game.

Glad i was at the bar. Buck annoys me.

I was concerned with his handling though, especially Dez's. A Marinelli coached D would probably have stripped Dez last night.

Buut they didn't.

Buck had nothing to say and went cliche. By the time the defenders arrived, the ball was protected. Credit Aikman for the segue off of a lame comment.

Yeah he clearly roots against the Cowboys.

Also both he and Aikman pick apart every pass Romo makes and rarely mention the quality of the throws other QBs make unless it's blatantly obvious

Romo set the record straight in his interview, however. He explained why he threw the ball the way he did. He could have sneaked a few of them in there but he didn't want to risk it. Buck/Aikman both need to just shut up!

As soon as I saw Murray do that, I crossed my fingers and hoped he wouldn't fumble. Carrying the ball like its a loaf of bread is just asking for it to be stripped.

Was it Buck that did the Seattle game? I kept remembering the Wilson lovefest as he threw for 120 yards, while Romo was getting hated on. At that point, I just kinda realized objective criticism was lost on this guy.

Don't read this wrong as Troy is a winner, and I am glad he was our QB, but here's his stats . Also know he played on some bad teams, but in addition some of the greatest we ever had.

Example in 1992 SB winning year he had 23 TD's and 14 Int's. He knows a few things about passing and picks.....

TDS

165

INT

141

Outside of this year, Murray hasn't been much of a fumbler. And every single fumble this year came from when he was almost on the ground. The problem I have with Troy and Buck's comments (or other commentators) is that I don't care if a guy holds the ball out like that when the nearest defender is 3-yards away and can't make contact with him. And I doubt many coaches care either.

Troy tries to come off unbiased but this makes him look very critical of the Cowboys. It's why I can't stand him or Buck calling our games.

If you really listen to what Aikman is saying, he is doing his job (and well I might add). He's being neutrally critical of both teams. If Aikman was never the QB of the Cowboys, I don't believe Cowboys fans would be so sensitive. Now as far as Buck goes, he's terrible in all aspects.
