COWBOYS/NFL ANNOUNCE PLANS TO RUIN ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS IN 2007!!
off of their recent success in ruining Christmas and New Year's Eve the NFL has announced a revised 2007 Schedule that will have the Dallas Cowboys embarrassed on national television in on all major holidays in 2007—even those that fall outside of the regular NFL season.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to announce an unprecedented schedule that includes gut-punch losses on May 5th, Memorial Day Weekend, Easter Sunday, July 4th, Labor Day, October 31st, the traditional Thanksgiving Day game, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.
Jones stated that “Fans across this great country have always been able to count on the Cowboys as part of their Thanksgiving Celebration—this is just taking it to the next level of letting Cowboy fans experience getting their ball sacks repeatedly hammered on all major holidays. We are proud of this opportunity to ruin family celebrations year round.”
Commissioner Goodell added “We are hoping to schedule a Arbor Day game for 2008…if we can just figure out just when the crap Arbor Day actually occurs."
Reached for comment at home, longtime Cowboys Fan Trey Walton exclaimed “We lose to the Eagles on July 18th? My ****ing birthday? C’mon. I mean, what the ****, what the ****ing ****?”
The NFL did announce that the only major holiday that the Cowboys are not scheduled to play this year is February 4th, 2007—a largely regional holiday known as “SuperBowl Sunday
