Ding ding ding! Agreed 100%. Threads about Lawrence (and Zack Martin earlier) - regarding maybe letting them "leave" at end of contracts are so insane. You do NOT let consistent high end players walk. They are almost impossible to replace. ONce you hit on them in the draft, you pay them in their prime. You don't have to pay them vast sums in their twilight, but get that 2nd contract sure! I think Lawrence has now shown he is for real......the jury was out with the injuries and suspension - but now it is put all together - and to hear him say how much he loves football - well that is when players become elite.....

If he played a less premium position, I could understand people being hesitant with handing out a massive contract. Pass rusher is right up there with QB as the hardest to find an elite player at. It’s a risk you have to take with an elite player at his position. Period

The media is wondering if the team is preparing for a possible Terrance Williams 1-2 game suspension for his alcohol-related car accident during the summer.
