Amen to those grades. Im not trying to stir the pot , but Jimmy's Cowboys would have never lost that game.

Has it ever been brought up that if the Bills cursed kicker never missed thar field goal in the Superbowl Big Bill would only have 1 championship?

I don't know what happened. We blew it at the end. I'm gonna hear it for months from my Skins fan cousin. Fark!!!

Let's start with Cortez ... shanked an easy 41 yarder. If he hit it, we win. F grade.

Offensive Playcalling ... TOO conservative. Why not attack the first downs? Why so many underneath passes which ended up short of the 1st down marker? Why not attack the 2ndary. We were so afraid of the blitz, which never came, and we shot ourselves in the foot. D grade.

We seemed to exhale after going three and out with 5 minutes to play, up 13-0. I had a bad feeling the Skins would turn up the urgency. Had we attacked one more first down, we'd have had a chance to run out the clock. Piss poor gents.

Defensive 2ndary ... the two TD's were on Roy. Sorry, but he's a monster at the LOS, but a liability in coverage. Both those TD's were on him. Perhaps it was the scheme, but how the heck do you let those long TD's when we KNEW they needed to throw deep??? We were also totally unprepared for their 4th down plays. Seems like we let loose after Roy's sack.

Sleep? I think I'll be using a sick day. I agree with the grades. OL played great. The 2 holding calls were pancakes. They were great, dominating blocks. I saw FAR worse from John Jansen all game, like on one of the TDs. He was constantly hooking our ends. But whatever refs. :(

Would have been nice for Julius to have gotten a few more carries, oh like 2nd and 4 at the end of the 4th quarter. 3rd and 4 at the end of the 4th quarter. 4th and 4 at the end of the 4th quarter. But whatever Parcells. :(

Zimmer called a defense on both TDs that should have stopped the kind of passes that beat us. This was a failure of personnel in my opinion - Roy and Aaron Glenn. Same play. Back to back. Moss was the only one who could have done this. Maybe we can blame Zimmer for not putting 2 backs on Moss with deep safety help and give up stuff underneath. Zimmer called a game that had the Skins shut out for 55 minutes. Portis was bottled up. I enjoyed the defense for 55 minutes. I hate the result, but Roy and Aaron missed the play.

The bottom line is that we're not as good a football team as what many over the last week (and last few months for that matter) have proclaimed. We're a barely above 500 club at this point. We have some talent but we still have some very big problems including a lack of experience in some areas and a lack of talent in others.

Get ready for this kind of ride all season folks....

I was in a pretty loud bar for the first half so I could be wrong on this one, but was Pettiti called for any penalties all night? Looked to me like the rookie had a very solid outing last night. Good for him. If nothing else Rob was a nice bright spot for us.

Flo's holding call after we made that 3rd down conversion cost us big time!

No more conspiracy theories against the refs. Flo was to blame. It's an easy call when you hook the DE with your arm around his face.

This type of nonsense has gone on TOO long. Same old crap ... different day.

The sky isn't falling, but we're NOT a playoff team!!!

I still think we are a playoff team, just a wild card team. I can't see how we can win a Division title when we can't close a poor offensive team like the SKins out. Imagine what TO is going to do with the entire middle of the field to work with??? Scary.....

I thought our mistakes would come from the D-Line and the backers because we are in a new scheme. But Roy and Glenn should not be getting burned twice on those type of routes.

Hate to say it, but 3-4, 4-3 it is the same result, no one made a play to close this one out. No sacks, no interception, no forced fumble. Just the same old Camp result, a collapse in the 4th Quarter.....this one will hurt all season, and could hurt our chances in getting into the playoffs.... :bang2:

We are a playoff quality team- but we have to cut down on the mistakes. And we cannot just blindly follow the plan- Moss was hurting us- concentrate on him; that was Zimmers mistake. HE did not make it a point to shut him down late. BP or Sean- too conservative- then dumb- when we got six yds by JJ on first down RUN IT for the next 2. Not having JJ in after the INT- when we could have iced the game. Newman or Henry should have been PUT on Moss.

Nope, Petitti had ZERO penalties, and from what I saw, ZERO breakdowns. He played an excellent game last night with no mistakes that I saw at first viewing (I'll have to watch the tape). Each of the other OLs had a penalty but as a group they played very well together. Didn't open many holes for the RBs but they did a great job of protecting Bledsoe.

Have you seen the rest of the league? Yes...we definitely are. The team that likely wins the NFC East is also 1-1. Truthfully, both wildcard teams could come out of the East.

What is sleep??? I fielded nah nah calls last night. There is no excuse for losing that game in the last 5 mins like that.. no excuse at all.

This team is better than last years team and last years team beat the skins

I agree with the grading, however... After the play calling of the 4th quarter and the loss of a 13 point lead in the last 4 mins for a loss, I wouldn't even give the coaching an F- ... I'd give them an incomplete because the coaching didn't show up and finish their job in the 4th last night.

I'm sick... I can't believe they blew that game of all games...

I will say that the flea flicker TD was AWESOME!! It was an exciting play.

Roy did some hard hitting and I liked watching him throw skins around like rag dolls.

JJ sure took some really hard hits... He sure was tough

Cortez... smack him for missing an easy 41 yrd'er.. that was the difference between a win or lose

BP - I was surprised that he was letting someone else do play calling (Payton) who did a good job..

Zimmer - ???? Don't know what to say that won't be deleted by a mod

Taking away the fact that the rivalry is now 14-2 with that loss and the skins are going to flood us until we take a win back later in the season... Overall the team (players) did really well and are starting to mesh...

EXACTLY!! Thank you, like a lone voice crying out in the wilderness, a few of us have recognized this fact for a while now. Besides the lack of talent, we also don't have that great of a coaching staff- absolutely NO killer instinct, EVER. :banghead:

I'm hoping you're wrong but, last night was a reality check to some degree. I still feel like we can be a playoff team based on the parity in the league nowadays. We have a good talent mix of veterans, youth and a good coach (despite last night's debacle). When you truly look at the positives after two weeks, you can clearly see the improvement in key areas. Considering all the new faces and other changes, I'm stilll very optimistic about our chances this year. Let's not throw the towel in just yet. ;)

I give Bledsoe a C- tops. He never threw the ball downfield , except on the flea flicker. He rushed passes and threw them away acting like he was about to be sacked when there wasn't even a rush. He underthrew open guys. Maybe I change that to a D- instead.

Playoffs? Playoffs?!!?! Please! Top 15 pick is more like it- if we were in the AFC it would be a top 5 pick- this team is not even going to be competitive in the East, much less challenge for the playoffs- and who cares anyway, I mean what happens if they do back in to the playoffs? Get crushed in the first round? Woo-hoo!! They'll get better as the year goes, but I've seen nothing to suggest that they will make the playoffs or if they do, do anything but sh@t the bed once they do make it. Some folks expectations were set WAY too high for this team because they managed to beat an overrated SD team and because we have an overrated fossil of a coach with a mediocre coaching staff.

Pretty amazing ... we rag on the Skins all week, and they outcoach us with 5 minutes left to play.

I agree with you wholeheartedly about us not being a playoff team. That's a little hard too do after just two games. Unless I'm mistaken....no one else is either. The loss last night sickens me as much as anyone but there are still 14 more games to be played.
