Just another opportunity for all other teams' fans to roll their eyes at a nationally broadcast Cowboys game. I love it.

They keep complaining about the attention that our team gets from the Media and the hype that they get from the media. But don't realize that they are part of the reason why the Media pays so much attention to the Cowboys and gives us so many National Games. As long as they tune in whenever the Cowboys are mentioned even if it's to hate that means big ratings which means that the Cowboys will keep getting a lot of attention from the Media and TV Networks lol.

Does Dallas have the most nationally televised games this year?

They used to have a limit of no team can have more than 6 games nationally televised. Though the flex SNF games can change that I believe.
If they are on more than 6 games, then it is from a market they may be shown in, but not considered the national game.

Like the game against Buffalo as mentioned, might be seen by a good part of the nation, but the GB / Ariz game is considered the national game that week according to the game map.

see week 16 in bold.

I count at least 11 national games - and do not be surprised if the Bills game in Week 16 gets flexed to Sunday Night on NBC or late afternoon on Fox for the 12th national game.

Do you mind letting me know which games will be national? I live in Seattle so I don't know how it works and I try to avoid going to the bar to watch games because obnoxious fans annoy me.

obviously the Thursday, Sunday, Monday night games are national.

Look at each Sunday's games, the late game in the afternoon. The one in bold is considered the Sunday daytime nationally televised game.
Of course these can change toward playoff time.

Also NFL TV rules may change a few in certain home teams areas.
Like a national game will not be seen if your home team in the city you live in, plays at the same time. Or conflicts with some schedule as if the home team plays at home or away.

Example, this week Jaguars and Raiders play at the same time in their home area, so they will not get the Cowboys / Eagles game.

Just another reason to hate the Texans. They've officially taken one football game from me every week. With them being in the same state as me, I'm guaranteed to see them on cbs and I have zero interest in watching that crap. Whats worse is they won't even pull them in a blowout because it's local.

Yes, it sucks. I'm in the DFW area, but we still will get the Texans game early. I wanted to see SD / Cincy game. So it will be watch that on first row sports, have Falcons / Giants game on TV for the early games. Change over to Texans now and then.

I've been thinking of getting DirecTVs most basic package and adding Sunday Ticket to it and keeping my regular cable(I dislike DirecTVs OS). Its really a shame they don't have those programable cards anymore.

I agree. I wanted to see the bills vs pats game. I wanted to see that bills front 7 lay out Brady with at least half a dozen sacks.

I was actually thinking of this too. And today I got a email for season ticket holders, free red zone pass, free NFL game rewind, and $10 off per month a DTV package of the $19.99 offer, for 12 months and fre Sunday Ticket.

For sure, I need to think about this.

Sunday Ticket doesn't give you games not on Sunday. And if you got basic channels, you wouldn't be able to watch the Thursday NFLN or Monday ESPN games.
