Sunday Ticket doesn't give you games not on Sunday. And if you got basic channels, you wouldn't be able to watch the Thursday NFLN or Monday ESPN games.

I would only be using it for the Sunday games. I would still keep Uverse as my main cable provider with ESPN and NFL network on there.

Ok. You just said "basic channels" so i assumed that meant only ABC, CBS, FOX

Thats what I would get on DirecTV. I can get just a bare bones subscription for 19.99/month and add Sunday ticket to it. Basically the only time I would use it would be Sundays for football. The rest of the week I would keep my Uverse for and watch everything else on there.

I was actually thinking of this too. And today I got a email for season ticket holders, free red zone pass, free NFL game rewind, and $10 off per month a DTV package of the $19.99 offer, for 12 months and fre Sunday Ticket.

For sure, I need to think about this.

And since Direct TV is now owned by AT & T and that happens to be the name of your favorite stadium....
