Yes I would say that once He decided to quit trying to win and just run the ball over and over...he should have pulled the starters.

However I will also say that if he is the HC he should be able to tell his vets that he appreciates them wanting to stay in and play but get your butts out of there instead of chancing more injuries.

There was no reason for Romo to be in at the end, that is for sure.

No doubt. Imagine if those two sacks Romo took at the very end of the game broke his collarbone or separated his throwing shoulder.

And this isn't a second guess. Brad Sham was asking why he and Murray were in the game at that point in real time.

Should have took all the starters out at half time! it was over when they went up 11 anyway.

HE should have yanked Romo in the third quarter for performance reasons. He wasn't getting it done Sunday night.

Benching a couple of those guys for lack of performance would have been the way to go.

Who knows the embarrasment on national tv might have done them some good. Not that their performance wasnt embarrasing enough.

Then if Romo got hurt and missed some games, Garrett would have another excuse why this season was a failure.

I don't think so.

If Romo would have been hurt, it would have been Garrett's death knell. No way Garrett would keep his job if Romo gets hurt in garbage time.

If he would've yanked Romo for performance reasons, then I guess he would've had to pull the other 45 players for the exact same thing, they were all terrible.
