I have been thinking lately about this. Barber plays FB and JJ at RB. Now this doesnt mean Barber is hte fulltime FB, because he still will probably have to fill in for JJ at RB, but I think the two of them together should be put on the same field at the same time more often. That way we have more weapons, and we have the kind of FB Parcells always wants. All around.
Barber is excellent at picking up the blitz this year as we all saw. That alone is almost reason enough because to be honest, JJ is a crappy blocker. But he can also have running plays for him, and we can do more screen and dump passes off to him. I really think this is a good idea, and way to get the most use out of our two guys. What do you guys think? Barber may be a bit light for FB, but I think he will put on more muscle and weight this offseason anyways. he would still play RB in one back sets sometimes, but it's just a good way to get him on the field, without limiting JJ or being too predictable.
