It might be wise to wait ... neither QB has played enough games to determine anything yet, and neither has really played elite defences yet, over the next few weeks Dak will be playing some decent defences and Wentz coming off their bye and playing Detroit this weekend likely won't get much of a test this Sunday...

As good as Dak has been I still like Elliot better and has been pretty impressive, especially the last 2 weeks with 2/5 of the starting o-line shelved with injury.

Good point...and look how well that ROY worked out for Washington, and I know a die hard eagles fan who moaned about having to play Griffin twice yearly for the next decade or so, and now I'd be surprised if Griffin is even in the league in a year or so...

Let's say Zeke beats the rookie record for most yards in a season (based on the last 3 weeks he should barely beat it, based on the last 2 he should crush it, week 1 really drags him down overall but still 1,600+ yard pace) but Wentz continues to play well and both teams make the playoffs. Who do you give the award to, the player at the most important position... or the player who did what no rookie RB has done before... I wouldn't want to make that decision, would you?

I don't know if Zeke will break it or not, but if he plays every game and doesn't get injured he will flirt with it for sure. Personally, I think if he stays healthy, he will get it. If we lose Dak and Romo for any length of time he will not have much of a shot at it.

I think Jerry wants him to get the record to help make him look like a genius. Don't underestimate it. Plus this O-line and Zeke are that good.

Maybe not the 18 TD part, but he's averaged 139/game these past two weeks, 120 yards these past three... take that out through a season and 1,808 is certainly a possibility.

That would be Rookie or the year material. Wentz or no Wentz. The problem...its a long tough season. 1800+ is grueling!

Agreed. The Eagles are not nearly as good as they look right now.

Wentz has played well but I'm not impressed. Doesn't go through reads, mainly throwing to first person, doesn't look off safeties or LBer. Most throws recievers were wide open. Has flirted many times with interceptors throwing in coverage, taking big hits.

Why is it Wentz to lose? Dak has played better then Wentz and Dak has played 2 division games to start the season. I think Dak is ahead of Wentz

When or if Romo comes back that will kill Prescotts chances. The Cowboys best hope is Elliott and he needs a big season to upset a QB. Anyway, how important are 50 AP journalist to the Cowboy fan base.
