Not T.O.
Not Antonio Bryant.

RFA Brandon Lloyd (San Francisco)
Speed. Quicks. Hands, hands, hands.
Lloyd is an up and coming star (IMO) with Terry Glenn-like circus grabs and excellent speed. He has been underrated and overlooked alot because of his team and their QB woes. Exactly what the Boys need IMO.

UFA Peter Warrick (Seattle)
Another speedy WR with great hands and quicks. He was injured the season before last (chin) when he was with the Bengals. He never fully recovered until last season when Cincinatti released him as a result of Houshmanzadeh stepping up to the task. He was then aquired by Seattle who used him sparingly behind starters Jurevicious and Engram. IMO he required a little more time to get back from his injury. If he is fully healthy now, he could be signed for a cheap price. Excellent option for Dallas as well. Former 1st round pick (#4) in 2000.

I hear ya.

But this year is pitiful in terms of WR options in the draft.

There's plenty of role players but no one to look toward the future with really.

I can see the headlines already:

WHEN JERRY MET LLOYD

The 49ers aren't going to let Lloyd get away. He's just about the only offensive weapon they have. He's on the verge of a Chad Johnson caliber breakout if he had a QB that could get the ball to him. .

I would give Detroit a 6th round pick for Charlie Rodgers.

As long as you think this guy can be our front runner for years to come -- as Keyshawn moves on in a year or 2.

I would seriously look at a Randle-El type player, someone who is good on ST and can excel as a slot receiver. combine that with continued development of Crayton and I think we'll be ok for 2006. Maybe draft a wide receiver with a Day2 pick

I think he most certainly can.

The only catch is he is Restricted.

Lloyd is a very solid receiver and will probably costa 2nd pick to acquire. If SF won't match the offer(which I doubt)

Then I'd make offers to lloyd and Kevin Curtis of the rams. I wouldn't make wuss offers either, I'd make strong offers.

Curtis is another guy I really like.

I get the feeling SF is going to keep him. He is one of the promising young talents they have.

He had a pretty good year, especially considering how pitiful the rest of the team was, and how bad their QB situation is.

I see him as more of a #2, break away kinda guy. But he wouldn't be a bad guy to complement Crayton's abilities as more of a possession WR.

When you say sign a fart, do you mean T.O.?
