I hope Jerry Jones could pull of a signing of Jimmy Johnson at the end of the year.... Im not saying im cancelling out on Parcells but, if we don't make it to the playoffs the franchise itself going to lose fans, like the Cowboys just could win, even with a excellent team... Bill Parcells probably would retire and Jerry would look for a big sign which will be Jimmy Johnson or Barry Switzer or Pete Carroll, USC Head Coach who coached New England Patroits 3 years to the playoffs, or Larry Coker, Head Coach of Miami Hurricanes, who coached players like Terry Glenn, Joey Galloway, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Eddie George, Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Bryant Mckinnie, Olando Pace, Edward Reed, Jeremy Shocky, Edgerrin James, Daniel Franks Known as Bubba, and Willis McGahee...

I like Larry Coker the most because of his experience coaching good runningbacks not to mention Frank Gore who is running good with the 49ers.

With Larry Coker experience with these players, I feel that he could fit right in with the Cowboys...

This is Larry Coker profile below and Pete Carroll...

If the Cowboys do something as ironic as fire Bill Parcells to hire Larry Coker or Pete Carroll, they've lost me.

I like these coach because they are up and coming like Jimmy Johnson was when he was coming out of Miami to sign with the Dallas Cowboys

Larry Coker reminds me of a Barry Switzer. I'm not saying he's not a good coach but he seems more like a bus driver than most.

Pete has had his chances in the NFL and I wouldn't want him in Dallas.

Charlie Weis has been the coach of ND for half a season with few to no players he's recruited playing. I'd give him a few more years before giving him a HC job in the NFL but thats me.

BTW Dallas unlike the majority of the clubs in the NFL has the most LOYAL fans and even by some slim chance we didn't make the playoffs I doubt our fan base takes any kindof hit....

Why don't we have a Smilies option that has a wall mounted clock with a bird coming in and out of it crying "coo coo"

I agree. I also agree with what Brian Dawkins said yesterday. The reason the NFC East is getting stronger is because of the coaches that are in the NFC East. Parcells,Gibbs,Reid and Coughlin are all damn fine coaches and as a Cowboy fan I'm very pleased with who is running this team

Good grief, if Jerry signs up Pete "pretty boy" Carroll I'm officially outta here! I'll become a NCAA snob and shun the NFL forever!

Coker inherited a good team and program at Miami. It was a program that Butch Davis had to re-build, yet still benefitted from the previous regimes. I haven't seen Coker do enough at the U that indicates that he is deserving of being a head coach of an NFL franchise. Butch did more for the program than Coker and had previous NFL experience. He turned out not to be a good NFL head coach. Coker has to do more before becoming coach of the Cowboys.

Charlie Weiss is proving himself in just 1 season. Definitley someone to keep an eye on. Probably the next coach of Oakland or Green Bay.

I apologize, but this is one awful post. First of all, if the Cowboys lose any fans for not making the playoffs this year, then those people were not fans anyway.

Secondly, BP isn't going anywhere and Larry Coker and Pete Carroll
in the NFL.

By the way, Charlie Weis is never leaving ND!

Probably? You're crazy. He's not going anywhere for a very long time. He went to school at ND, he's not leaving. He'll grow old there, bank on it. By the way, being the Head Coach at ND is a better job than just about every head coaching job that there is. Weis going pro is not happening any time soon. Move on.

Very valid point and also there have been many great college coaches who have no desire to go to the NFL. Some of these guys are treated like Gods at these colleges

Seriously, I don't understand why people think he'll just get up and leave his dream job.
