Two NFL rule changes I would like to see

I like the first two of your rules, but not #3. I especially like #2. I believe that's the rule in high school football, or at least it is in some leagues. I don't like #3 because if you're kicking that long of a field goal, you haven't gained as many yards. As you gain yards, field goals become easier. If you have to kick a long one, it's because the offense hasn't done as good a job as it could. If your kicker is capable of making a 60+ yard field goal, great, but you still should get just 3 points.

The other rule I would change would be to allow players and cheerleaders to date. It makes no sense that this is prohibited. If they like each other and can date without it interfering with their jobs, they should be allowed to. They're adults.

I like the fg rule because it is like when the NBA brought in the 3pt shot.....at first there was a ton of backlash, but then over time it became widely accepted as a positive addition to the game. My only real reservation with the rule would be that Denver would have an advantage, being used to high altitude kicks.

But think of it like this. Dallas is down by 4. There is a minute left and they have no TOs. The way it is now, they need a TD. However, with my rule, they just need to get to the opponent 43 to have a chance to tie and send the game into OT.
