Is it me or has thier been an unusual high number of both significant and not so significant injuries thus far in the NFL overall.
What's even more surprising is our practically empty injury list. KNOCK KNOCK

Imagine if we were the Jets. Drew Henson would be starting this Sunday, and we would have resigned Vinny Testaverde. Course, knowing Parcells, Vinny would probably play this Sunday instead of Drew. The curse of "He gives us the best chance to win now" is a beautiful thing, when it's not on the Cowboys.

I remember seeing similar threads the last couple of seasons. Injuries happen, unfortunately. I would be interested in seeing a list of major impact players who have been injured over the last 3 to 5 seasons and see if there are any trends

I've kinda noticed it too. It didnt really hit me until all the mcflab talk started circulating, and I was like, wow, there have been a lot of "key" injuries so far.....I just hope we can finally dodge that bullet. I think if we CAN/DO dodge the injury plague this year, it'll spell really good things.

We've already had Cundiff injured. Kalen Thorton as well. I think he would have been a productive back up to Ware and slightly better than Ogbogu.

Hey, what happend to our old battle cry, "At least we're not the Bengals!!!".

Gotta love comparing ourselves to the Bengals.

Now that they're one of the top teams in the league, who do we compare ourselves with? What's next?

"At least we're not the Jets!!!".

The last time we stayed healthy in 2003, we were able to limp into the playoffs with a pretty average team.

Last season, injuries killed us just as much as the poor talent. Had we not been playing a third string CB, lost Woodson and Glenn and had Jones the entire year, we would have won at least two more games, if not more.

We did not "luck" into much of anything last year. This year, we look much more like Lady Luck is smiling on us. If we can escape Oakland with a win, I don't think anyone would be displeased with a 3-1 record that could be 4-0 were it not for blown coverages.

Dallas also lost its starting QB last season due to what I will call a mental injury. His drug adiction or bi-polar or depression or whatever it is had a direct impact on his ability to play football, so it constitutes an injury to me.

I know some may laugh at the thought, but I think Dallas would have been better with Quincy at QB. Still probably wouldn't be a good or playoff team, but there is something about continuity at the QB position that helps.
