I'm so hyped about this game... Sunday won't get here fast enough for me.

Keeping in mind that we need to play a very sound football game in all phases of the game and that everyone needs to bring their A game vs. the Steelers.........

If you have to pick two players, one on offense and one on defense, who will play a huge role this Sunday who will they be. To make things interesting, let's take out the big and obvious names like, Romo, TO, Ware, Flo, and Witten out of the equation.

My choices.....

On offense---Roy Williams, I think field conditions and the fact that Witten will be counted on for protection more in this game will mean that we will depend on a possession type receiver who has height advantage over their CBs.

On defense---Ratliff, the Steelers like to run the ball and they have a shaky OL with a QB who holds on to the ball a little too long. I think he will need to be very disruptive in the middle and redirect the running game as well as getting to the QB a couple of times.

What are your choices. Play along.

Bennett on offense and Ware on defense.

The Stealers are going to try their best to contain Witten over the middle which should leave Bennett with weaker coverage.

No matter what they do they aren't going to stop Ware.

I am hoping about 22 guys have good games and a few have great games. If I had to choose I would hope that Roy Williams breaks out on offense and Newman on D.

Ware and Owens. I just have this feeling that this is the kind of game where Owens is going to go off again and stick it to those who think he is going downhill fast.

And of course Ware is Ware.

Spencer or Ellis - All their attention is going to be on Ware. We HAVE to get pressure on Ben. Hes a different qb when he is under pressure(as most are)

O-line - Couldnt pick just one guy. If Romo stays clean on sunday, we win period. Personally i think thats what this game comes down to. If we protect Tony, he'll win the game for us.

IMHO, i think Spencer, Bennett and Crayton are good picks.

Ware and TO are pretty much a given. I do hope they send TO in motion, considering the condition of the field and the fact that they will jam him at LOS if given a chance.

I'll go with Gurode and Spencer. We can handle pressure off the edges if we can keep the pocket clean for the passing game. I'm taking Spencer just because you said Ware was too obvious. The Steelers defense will force us into turnovers, and it's going to be up to our pass-rush to return the favor.

I'm thinking Quincy Butler will have a huge day, probably Sam Hurd too

Barber = I call BS on the toe , he's too tough . I say he plays , bashes , and gains a hard fought 80 yards and a TD in the snow while breathing steam .

Pac-Man = I say he sucks at punt returns and gets very few snaps at CB , but will bust a kick off return for a TD and a momentum changer .

Paulescu = You can't just have 1 offensive player and 1 defensive player , you have to include a special teams guy . I say Paulescu downs the ball inside the 10 with two minutes to go in the 4th . Roethlischeesburger will have to drive the field to win it , and and Reed will miss the game winner with only seconds left .

im not as certain about butler as you seem to be..however, sam hurd was my # 3 option..with all the attention TO and Roy Williams will get hurd will get many chances...:laugh2:

#1 - Tony Romo - For better or worse this guy IS the dallas cowboys..PERIOD. this teams goes as he goes. You can say what you want about the fumbled snap, you can say what you want about the playoff game vs the giants but the REALITY is when the game is on the line the guy has ice in his veins. I will go out on a limb and state our offense wont skip too many beats this weekend and drop an easy 24 spot on the #1 rated defense in the nfl.

# 2 - Terrell Owens - It is easy to pick 1 guy on offense and 1 guy on defense and I almost did it. BUt I will continue with my theme that our offense will handle pitts defense without much problem. Assuming and to many this will be a big assumption that our offensive line protects Romo, the weakness in the steelers defense is their secondary. Therefore, give Romo some time and TO will have a field day on sunday! If I were to go outside of TO I would say Flozell - this guy seems to play his best games when we have needed him the most and I do not believe this week will be any different.

Well, wouldn't that make it 2 ST guys;)

Hope you're right about MBIII though.

Offense: Barber surprises with 140 or so yards, 50 of which come in the 4th quarter.

Defense: Greg Ellis surprises with 2.5 sacks, and tackles all over the field.

I'll give 2 on each side.

Def-
Ratliff is going to give the Steelers fits.
Newman shuts down Ward.

Off
This is Roy Williams coming out party. 2 scores..1 deep one.
Tashard Choice runs and blocks just enough to keep the Steelers repsecting the run.

Ware will have another multi-sack game and will be be a beast as usual. Romo will make the Steeler's D pay for blitzing and will have a 4 TD game.

I was gonna say Roy Williams until he showed up on the injury report with some sort of foot injury.
