First, and foremost and in the forefront: Landry was not fiery. Some would evan say he was unconscious most of the time. But he instilled fear in his players. Even the stars treaded water carfully around him.
Landry struck fear into his player with his quiet, statute demeaner and did not half to yell.
That would be good for Jason but he don't half the fire and he don't half the quiet volcano inside him that he need.

So you who smugally bring up Landry, the coach with the plastic wooden face was feared and respected.

Also, when do ever one become a critic.

The first is: Garrett, imho, is one of the brainier coaches in the NFL. I think he be gifted and stuff and really, really know football unlike Jerra. And if it was up to me I would gift him a 5-year extension.
But here is what wrankles me.
His seeming lack of fire in the belly. Yes, lack of fire.
I do not trust him to get angry at players, to scream at them to publicly rebuke thems -- for anything.
As I half said before, a player stink it up in a game and this is Garrett's script:
"How is everyone! Good! Yes, it was a difficult day for the team. We didn't execute and we did half some lapses. Player X had a rough day. All I can say is we want him to contribute at the high level we are used to. He is intelligent and his work ethic is without question. He wants so badly to win that he tries to do too much. He knows his value to our team and I'm sure he'll have another All-Pro day next Sunday." Blah! (and I don't means he is talking about Romo; I think he'll half a excellent year)

Needles to say, Garrett is no Jimma Johnson.

Show some fire, Jason! Show your displeasure. Don't build up a guy who stunk it up. Fear can motivate, intimidate and adjudicate!

Mein second point:

If this is Jerra's "show me the playoffs or your gone" to Jason season, Jason will leaf by the end of December.
I cannot see this team advancing to the playoffs. Period. Pointe. Blanc. No way he can survive if this is THE season that Jerra wants to advance. Most, if you is honest, will put us at 6-10 this coming season. Yes, admit it. The defense will sink us.

OK, gift me your best. I half cookies, punch and some appetizers made by the Ladies Square Dance Auxiliary in the hobby room and I hope you enjoy the post and the snacks.

Hey i do what I can within the constrainst of the public library. When they say mein 45 minites is up they mean it. So if mein posts seem to end abrupt like or meander half compassion. I agree we are probably headed for a losing season. The defense just seems to keep looking worse on paper and in the field. The only wild-card (pun intended) is just how lights out this offense can be. If we stay healhy there and reach potential we could hang a 30+ burger every game and hide the defense enough to get to 9-10 wins.

As for Garrett, meh. I never wanted him here and still don't.

Trick question? Pretty easy question. I have already stated many times after last season I would have fired Garrett however I'm not so called anti Garrett. My comment is easy to understand when most feel that this team does not have a snowballs chance in hell to win if and it is a big if they are to win the east make it to post season then it would mean Garrett got this team to play well above any expectation and would be a reason he would be retained. Correct or not?

My own view if he fails to get this team into post season he should be fired not rewarded with a new contract but again I'm not anti Garrett and thus if he can win then you bet I would give him a new contract because he would have shown himself as a worthy HC

Garrett must have invented a flex defense before he came to Dallas, like Tom Landry, because all I keep hearing about is how intelligent he is. It's not possible that he's running a simplified version of the Coryell, because he's so intelligent. I mean all the creative ways he's shown in getting the ball to his best players. I mean what to DBs know when they called out Garrett for simple routes that are easily defensible. Garrett is the genius. What does Patrick Crayton know when asking Garrett where the hell is the hot route when it comes to a blitz? Garrett is a genius. It's not like Crayton has any proof, because Garrett has shown, throughout his tenure, his brilliance in adjusting to even basic blitzes up the middle. Oh, wait a minute...
