Tyler Guyton's new nickname

He has improved, that doesnt mean he is good. He is still bad.

And that wasnt funny at all. It was funny in a kind of way because it looked so stupid and embarrassing.

Whats more it doesnt do the sport any good. The NFL is already not authentic anymore. And i fell in love with the sport because it was authentic and not fake.

He should go play soccer if he likes to fake fouls all day. *****. Losers do that.
I get what you are saying but the Raider did punch Guyton and commit a foul. It's not like Guyton just pretended to get hit. Guyton just did a stupid looking extra flop after getting hit.

Las Vegas was still probably going to get penalized even minus the flop. To me this isn't even the worst fake I ever saw. I remember two Giants players going down with fake injuries at the same time to stop the clock a few years back.

It's not right but "gamesmanship" like this is common across all sports.

There was once a famous wrestler back in the day named Jimmy "The Super Fly" Snuka

Tyler has earned a similar name..... Tyler "Super Flop" Guyton

That was one of the funniest flops I have ever seen in football.

Oh my GOD, I loved it. The delay in the flop was priceless, especially with the way his mate looked at him when Guyton hit the ground.

Since its been 30 years since we sniffed success, perhaps this is the new path to greatness, lol
I'd rather see smart football players screwing withy guys heads and trying to free yards than Pickens and his immature celebrations or stupid penalties at critical moments.

You are right he got hit. And i dont want to even argue that this was unfair and needes to be flagged. Of course.

But those OL-men are big boys. No need to fall down because of a small fistbump. Com on man Guyton!

Anyways. I didnt like the behaviour. And you may be right about sports those days too. I just cant help myself but i remember it differently. 40 years ago the sports of american football was something that was associated with pride and respect. No way a player would have acted that way. He would have lost all his reputation amongst others. He would have betrayed the secret code. No the oposite would have happend: that would have started a fight.

But nowadays nobody gives a damn about no code or respect.

Guytons behaviour just shows what the sport has become: a collection of bad wanna-to-be medicore athletes. People who are not playing this sport because they are convinced of the values it stands for. Prescott is another good example. DFlaw also.

Yeah the time his brain needs to process information before being able to find a solution was very funny to behold.

No wonder the guy is such a bad player.

As a side note on Guyton, five of the highest graded games of his career have been across the past seven weeks. Monday Night was his career best.

We might not want to admit it, but his career arc is trending upward.

I coached softball for 20 years. There are certain plays where the defense ALWAYS obstructs the runner and it was rarely called. If the runner avoided contact, the umpirs wouldnt notice the obstruction and it was the offense that was penalized for the obstruction, not the defense.

To fix that, I taught our runners to BLOW UP that defender who was standing in their way. Obstruction was going to get called.

So yes, did Guyton flop? yep, but did he get punched in the face? That defensive player should have been ejected. Just because it was open hand means nothing, it was a punch.

The flop ensures somebody pay attention.
