Tyron Smith has high ankle sprain

dang... those take a while to heal up too, right?

Usually. Can be up to 6-7 weeks depending on severity. Usually 4-5 though.

Sucks. Sometimes they take longer to heal up than a broken ankle.

Depends on how bad it is, but I would not be surprised to see him miss the rest of the season.

this is worse than a break.

he could possibly be back in the playoffs if we get there.

He said "of course" when asked if he will play next week. He also said he wanted to go back in today. He may feel differently after it swells up tonight. I guess we'll see how severe it is tomorrow.

This is not good in the least. This o-line was absolutely terrible before he got injuried. I can't even begin to think how bad it will be without him. Don't really want to.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Ok so I guess we have to wait until an official report. Because I heard the same on the ticket.

Didn't Lee say the same thing after the game?

Let's hope Smith does better than Lee.

Hopefully with Murray's comeback this will alleviate Smith's injury a little bit.

oh nooo end of the world.

you guys. a sprain has many different severities.
