This is why the 2015 draft must focus again on OL and DL. 2 deep across both lines = mediocrity acceptable behind them.

Right but there are some positions on this team that aren't even ONE deep. And offensive line is rather deep to be honest. They have some guys who can come in and play for them if guys get hurt. IF 3 or 4 linemen get hurt....that's just a extreme and you can't plan for that. But if 1 or 2 guys get hurt? They have guys to come in and contribute. That defense needs some starters on it as opposed to the offensive line needing luxuries. They owe that to Maranelli.

In preseason Parnell was the only other guy to get snaps at LT besides Smith. Martin may be an option for sure but they didn't play him at OT at all in the preseason.

I get that, just worried about keeping Romo upright. Parnell has brain freeze at the oddest times, and on Tony's blindside it could be tragic.

Every single one of our OL can run block like demons however so it makes sense to run even more if we put in any subs. It is safer for Romo AND plays to our strength.

NY doesn't look that good, especially since Cruz is gone. Would it be wise to let Smith rest this week? We don't want a setback but it is our first div game and they play well in Dallas.

Just spitballing here, not sure how much his ankle hurts anyways.

With Free out that would leave us with two tackles out. The only strength NY has is their pass rush. If he can play, he'll play. I want to see him throw JPP around.

According to NFL Insiders on ESPN. Anyone know anything about this?

EDIT: According to information provided by you guys below, this seems precautionary in nature and he should be available on Sunday. Fingers crossed.

From the sound of it, just precautionary. He did participate in drills. Was just bothering him. When its your 100mil LT you get that MRI

No
Division games are too important and not to be taken for granted

Every time something like this is reported and appears to be minor, I feel as if we just alerted the opponent this week. A division rival rolling up on his already aggravated ankle could be all the incentive they need to play dirty.
