Someone on the old forum had this play as an animated gif as their sig. Used to get a chuckle every time I saw them post.
I think someone here had it as well. I seem to recall it several times; I think he only posts now and then though.

If they took Duane Brown over Felix Jones would of had a PB LT and could of drafted Watt to pair with Ware.

If we go back and pick and choose, we could form a superteam of players.

If we go back and pick and choose, we could form a superteam of players.

Tried it for two years (2010 and 2011) just to see what I got:

2010 draft

1st: TE Rob Gronkowski over WR Dez Bryant

2nd: LB Navorro Bowman over LB Sean Lee

4th: S Kam Chancellor over DB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah

5th: S Reshad Jones or DE Greg Hardy over trade for G Montre Holland

6th: WR Antonio Brown over T Sam Young

6th: C/G Ted Larsen over DB Jamar Wall

7th: WR Victor Cruz over DT Sean Lissemore

2011 draft

1st: OT Tyron Smith

2nd: RB DeMarco Murray over LB Bruce Carter

3rd: OLB Justin Houston over RB DeMarco Murray

4th: TE Julius Thomas over G David Arkin

5th: CB Richard Sherman over DB Josh Thomas

6th: C Jason Kelce over WR Dwayne Harris

7th: S Chris Harris over FB Shaun Chapas

So after two drafts, our starting lineup would have been:

QB Tony Romo

RB DeMarco Murray/Felix Jones

TE Jason Witten, Rob Gronkowski (Julius Thomas as third TE) instead of Witten, Martellus Bennett and John Phillips

WR Miles Austin, Antonio Brown (Victor Cruz as third WR) instead of Austin, Dez Bryant and Laurent Robinson

OL: Tyron Smith, Kyle Kosier, Jason Kelce, Ted Larsen, Doug Free instead of Free, Kosier, Phil Costa, Derrick Dockery and Smith

DE Marcus Spears, Kenyon Coleman/Jason Hatcher

NT Jay Ratliff

LBs DeMarcus Ware, Navorro Bowman, Bradie James/Keith Brooking, Anthony Spencer/Justin Houston (possibly Greg Hardy) instead of Ware, Lee, James/Brooking and Spencer

CBs Richard Sherman, Terence Newman (backed up by Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick) instead of Jenkins, Newman, Scandrick and Alan Ball

Ss Kam Chancellor, Reshad Jones (backed up by Chris Harris, Barry Church) instead of Abram Elam, Gerald Sensabaugh, Barry Church and Danny McCray

Give me another year and I'll have us in the Super Bowl no matter who the head coach is.

Had some fun doing this, so I'm adding the 2012 draft.

1st: G David DeCastro over CB Morris Claiborne

2nd: LB Bobby Ingram over trading 2nd to move up for Claiborne

3rd: DE Mike Daniels over DL Tyrone Crawford

4th: CB Josh Norman over LB Kyle Wilber

4th: DT Malik Jackson over DB Matt Johnson

5th: RB Alfred Morris over WR Danny Coale

6th: LB Danny Trevathan over TE James Hanna

7th: WR Rishard Matthews over LB Caleb McSurdy

New lineup (obviously injuries would have affected this);

QB Tony Romo

RB DeMarco Murray, Alfred Morris

TE Jason Witten, Rob Gronkowski (Julius Thomas)

WR Antonio Brown, Victor Cruz (Miles Austin)

OL Tyron Smith, David DeCastro, Jason Kelce, Ted Larsen, Doug Free

DE Mike Daniels, Jay Ratliff, Malik Jackson (Daniels and Jackson probably would not have started as rookies over Hatcher, Spears and Coleman)

LB DeMarcus Ware, Navorro Bowman, Bobby Wagner, Justin Houston

CB Richard Sherman, Josh Norman (Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick)

S Kam Chancellor, Reshad Jones (Chris Harris, Barry Church)

Smith was the right choice. Romo would be a vegetable right now if not for Smith. This offense is atrocious without elite talent, so if we had Watt, in order for us to win we'd have to keep nearly all teams under 10 points.

We saw what happened to Dak in Atlanta, and now he has the jitters. Imagine Romo having to endure 3 or 4 years of that on top of the years of beating he endured when we initially blew up the o line.

How soon people forget. I would put Watt's run from 2012-2015 up against any D lineman in NFL history.
