This kid can flat out run. I love JJ as much as the rest of you but TT just seems to hit those holes w/ HUGE speed. Everytime.

He was breakin off 8-10 yarders in the 4th like nothing. Straight up the middle to.

Maybe the Eagles were just tuckered out by then. That could have been the reason he was runnin all over them like he was.

I hated seeing JJ getting dinged up.

Now Tyson - brother - you need to protect the ball a bit better.:

Wow, I completely agree. If we didn't have JJ, I wouldn't be upset one bit if Tyson was our starting running back, for real. He has that game breaking speed.

Agreed, the kid is fast and runs hard. But it's a lot easier being the backup than it is the go to guy.

I'm looking forward to this kid learning how to be a better blocker and receiver out of the backfield. Makes for a nice 1-2 punch.

Pretty good stats today for an undrafted rookie!

He better hang on to that freaking ball, i don't care if you are down, you shouldn't have to have a review after every play because you no longer are holding on to the ball.
Fumbling is a quick hook under BP....

Yes, this kid has serious talent. But I started cringing every time I saw him take the ball. He really needs to work on his ball handling.

What a great combo we can have for many years to come with J.J and T.T. The defenses will get tired of chasing Jones and when he comes out the other team thinks they have a break but no the backup is even faster. Our backs will stay fresh while the other team continues to tire

Even with TT's fumbles, I'm glad BP didn't yank him out of the game. That could have really hurt his confidence over the long run.

I'm sure TT will do a better job of handling the football next game.

Eventually, if JJ shows hes back to form, and becomes one of the elite backs in the league, we will lose Tyson to another team, because if his development continues, he'll be too good a running back to be a backup anywhere

What does this mean for MBIII? Not enough pigskin to go around for all three.

I say we try MBIII as our return specialist (both on KO and PR), especially if Thompson starts contributing more on O. And I like crayton, but I haven't been wowed by him in PR yet.

We have exclusive rights on Tyson for a few years.

We can worry about it then...

I think that as long as TT does not fumble and picks up blitzes, he is now THE backup to JJ. And if JJ cannot play next game, TT probably gets the start.

He hits the holes faster but I think Julius is better after the hit.

JJ hit the holes last year with that same intensity - this year it seems like it takes 4 years for him to get to the LOS.

I think we should flat out get rid of Thomas. He couldnt run squat today when given the chance. He complained this week for not getting in the game. He gets put into the game and cant even run/catch the pass.

Sit his butt on the IA list as far as Im concerned. Activate Price in his place.

I said in chat that he looks extremely fast.

I think the Beagles were laying down by then. And they are right, wait till he does a game as the GO TO GUY.

But he did great. Very fast. Just put a handle on the ball.

i watched the game at a sportsbar, and was telling everyone how fast this kid is and what a future he has if he can learn to pick up the blitzes and hold onto the ball better. well, he showed all of that... but fer shur he's not going anywhere else anytime soon. we have our backup RB, and its nice to know the change of pace back is even faster than the #1 guy!!! every time he hits the hole, you think he could go all the way.........

Speaking of rbs, Colorado has a runningback that has 4.3 speed and weighs 225lbs. I saw him for the first time yesterday and this kid can run. Their fb is a good one too, should be the next great nfl fb, if there is such a thing.

I think Barber needs to be tossed before Thomas. He just has not impressed me at all and I think he is a wasted pick.

JJ broke off a 25-yd run to set the tone and was on pace for 144 yards. I've been surprised to see JJ stuffed several times on 4th & 1 and on the goalline, but TT isn't going to be any more effective in those situations. Scotman hit it- Troy Hambrick looked great as a backup, too.

The 'boyz like the Cheifs finally have a double headed rushing machine. TT & JJ are gonna be the best for us for years to come
