Justin Hartwig 4years in the league 6-4/300 Tennessee Titans

I have watched him in Nashville. He is very good, but the Titans do not typically pay the Center position. If we don't get Bentley, this could be the guy.

I talked of him toward the end of our season and I agree he could be a good consulation prize.....
Now I am thinking,
(1) L.Bentley
(2) Draft Mangold(OSU)
(3) J.Hartwig

I started a thread about him awhile back. Not many people seemed to interested for some reason. I think he would be a great addition.

He's been mentioned quite a bit.

I think he's a better target than Bentley actually. Not a better center but a better FA choice.

WE HAVE CAP ROOM. Lets get the best player available at the positions of need. Screw the economy route.

We don't need to buy the absolute best player for every position. That's like buying a fancy meal for someone who would be more than happy with a hamburger.

We have the cap room now -- but you spend like crazy and then you have no room in the future. We have to get better but also manage our cap so that we can be good for a long time.

I've mentioned him. He's hungry to play for a winner and he could be a bargain- this year's Anthony Henry. I hope we're preparing a full-court press.

Thats true, but we should defintely spend for both Hutchinson and Bentley if they become avialable.

Johnson was erratic last season but Id really rather pay Runyan or Backus than Bentley or Hartwig.

You would rather pay Runyan and Backus over a young 25 year old probowl guard and center. What are you smoking? Backus is not a probowler and Runyan is a shell of his former self.

Henry was no bargain, but I agree with the rest

Point taken. He sure did start out that way. Here's hoping we can call him a bargain this time next year.

I don't think Hartwig would be much better than Al Johnson who had an off year. If we can't sign Bentley, then the boys should stand pat at center.

I think we have seen the best in Johnson. He can't get bigger or stronger. He is what he is.

he's only been in the league 2 years, he hasn't reached his max, strength...maybe, but you can get away with great strength by using proper bend and technique, which only comes with experience

I'm not so sure we should go that route, alot is already invested in the Oline as it is, and the Skins signed a mid-level Casey Rabauch, and are set at C

but I don't think Parcells makes a move at C anways, the 3-year rule for rookies=Al Johnson, and he'll probably re-sign Gurode to be his swing C/OG

He should probably resign Gurode to be his starting RG.:D
We have all been dissappointed in Rivera.
