I can't stand Brandon Vera.

I have no doubt though that Randy still has it outside of 1 thing. His chin is gone. It wont take much to KO him.

But I don't think Randy has lost a thing physically.

Another questionable judges decision in this one, not as bad as Machida/Shogun though, you can actually justify this one even though i don't agree with the decision

I'm not watching it until the replay comes on in 2 hours

there's a couple of pretty good fights and a .gif worthy KO, not as bad as the poor fight card would suggest

According to wrestlingobserver.com

Brock Lesnar is in extremely bad shape and there are questions as to whether he will ever fight again.

Lesnar, 32, is in far worse shape than he has been letting on. He went to Canada last week to try to get some rest, collapsed, and was rushed to the hospital. He has mono and also something else that he doesn't want to get out, and all we now is that he does not have cancer and he does not have AIDS. It is, however, extremely serious and he will not be fighting again for a long, long time, if he is able to fight again.

Dana White is heading to Minnesota tonight and will be working to get Lesnar to the Mayo Clinic or equivalent medical facility for treatment.

Also, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has a staph infection and his fight with Cain Velasquez at UFC 108 is off. Nogueira will need an IV to hopefully get the infection out. He is also in bad shape.

With Lesnar out indefinitely, Shane Carwin will be undergoing knee surgery, so he will not be available to face Velasquez at UFC 108.

Vera got screwed.

I really hope UFC doesn't turn into this crap that boxing has become.

Let the winner win the fight.

Vera is a chump. he had a chance to win when he hurt Randy with a body kick punched him twice than just layed in his guard. Randy won the 1st and 3rd rounds.

Randy obviously won the fight. He clearly won rounds 1 and 3. Just because clinching isn't "exciting" doesn't mean it doesn't score points.

Had Vera been able to throw as little as a single punch once he got the take down late he probably would have won, but he did nothing with it and if you take away that take down Couture is the clear winner in round 3 so i can see both sides

I didn't even see that fight as being extremely close. Octagon control is a big part of judging in the UFC, like it or not. Randy won two rounds easily.

No shocker. Randy clearly won rounds 1 and 3 so it's no surprise that Vera didn't win. They tell you all the time not to leave it in the judges hands.

Rampage that stuff about Lesnar...that sucks.

Couture is a legend so he deserves the close calls but at the same time I hate to see anyone rewarded for that lame fight plan of hug the opponent.

Vera won r2 easily and should have gotten r3 with the late take down over a guy who clearly only wanted to wrestle yet had less takedowns than the muay thai guy.

Vera fought off a zillion take downs and did more overall damage plus landed far more shots. Easy call if the name-recognition wasn't there.
