I didn't like the signing of Parcells to Dallas back when it first occurred. I thought he was overrated. I was wrong.

Putting everything personnel wise Bill has done for this team aside for just a minute..

Any man who can attend his brothers' funeral and coach his team to a victory on the road in a division game in the span of 24 hours gets all the respect and admiration in the world from me. I don't care what happens from here on out, I doubted the Tuna and I'm sorry. I wish I had that kind of strength.

You could tell he was hurting today. I wish his guys could have played their hearts out for him tonight to show appreciation for him even being there.

Parcells is a class act!

Dallas fans are very lucky... we've had three of the best coaches to ever walk the sidelines. And I don't think that's an overstatement.

... man than I could be in that situation.

To go from one personal, emotional event to another public emotional event is scary and admirable.

I hope he has some time for his family, but given our hectic run over the next 10 days he doesn't have much time.

You have to feel for this man.

I wish our guys woiuldve made it a lil easier on bill throughout the game. But I'm glad we pulled it out, and now tomorrow wont be as rough as it couldve beeen, of course, knowing BP, he'll prolly treat the guys like they lost which isnt a bad idea.

... they did lose for the majority of the game. If not for the miscommunication between the receiver and "soup" boy we wouldn't be marking a "w" in the happy column.

I was also thinking about this, and it could be a good thing we have 3 games in 10 days. It will help him stay focused and keep his mind off of the hurting. He'll be strictly football for a week and a half and that could be very theraputic for him. Not to mention that detroit game is very winable and it would do us well to get at elast 2 outta 3 of this 10 day span!! I personally think we can go 3 for 3 but either way, all the football could be good for Bill, he's in his element on the field!

I realize that but as most people say "good teams find a way to win tough games" and tonight our way went through Roy. We got some breaks and missed some chances but every gaame goes like that. We didnt execute on offense well enough to win this game, and once aagain credit the D with this game, but a win is a win.

Okay, time to attempt to sleep. That Post Game PC was a tearjerker. "I don't mean to dwell on that. I got a message today that said, 'Don't have a troubled heart.' And I don't. I've got those guys in there."

Heck of a game.

Check this out.

Don Parcells wore #31 at Army.

That's creepy, in a good way.

I kept telling myself in the back of my head, "Bill's brother is gonna have something to say about this game".

Then we got called for that personal foul before the eagles' last FG and I proceeded to destroy my den.

Yeah but David, we lost two earlier due to screw ups so in my view, turnabout is fair play.

...were less about our screw ups and more about their play against us.

Skins isolate Moss on one of our weaknesses and burn us for two TDs. Bledsoe coughs up an ill advised pass under pressure allowing the Hawks to win on a last second 50 yard FG in the rain.

Here we are talking about an errant pass by "soupy" to no receiver. If Roy wasn't there it would have fallen to the ground on the sidelines.

I don't think we did anything exceptional to get this win other than be in the right place at the right time.

...winning football as a way for Parcells to ease the pain from the loss of his brother. Lord knows that man deserves some relief now.

Listening to his press conference after the game, I think he coaches in Dallas for at least another 2 years... possibly longer.

He derives strength and comfort from coaching and from the players.

Now that he's divorced, they are obviously a huge part of his family... I think he would be lonely without the team. If the team can continue to give him more inspiring moments than crushing moments, I think he'll coach well into the future.

I'm glad to have ya here Bill Parcells! :clap2:

Danny, that is a wonderful sig, a fine tribute to Bill.

When I saw how stricken he looked on the sidelines last night, how gaunt and haunted...geez.....it's great the team came thru for him....

Pro Bowl players are supposed to make big plays. Chalk one up for ROY.
