Under Pressure....?

Where is the defensive pressure that was supposed to give our secondary guys some breathing room, and rack up more sacks? We have how many sacks after 2 games.....2? I really don't know. All I do know is that the plan to move Ware around to free him up isn't being employed effectively. But then, it doesn't even matter, because he was standing right in front of Green Sunday, & wiffed on a sack. On the same play, Canty had broken through the middle and tryed to tackle Green by the head?! Of course, Green slipped right out of that head lock & proceeded to make a play on Ware.

Come on, guys! Just because you get there doesn't mean the party's over. You have to freaking tackle the guy! Whatever happened to wrapping up? We seriously lucked out on this game. Sure, there was some pressure, but Green was throwing some of the worst balls I've ever seen. Many times, he had all day to throw & still threw ducks.

Some day soon, we're going to run into a real NFL offense, and if TNew is still out, will get our heads handed to us. I know this is a new style of play, but I thought it was supposed to be an EASIER style....a style all the players were thrilled about. When your only sack comes from your MLB, you know you're in trouble. I thought Spencer had a great game--better than Ware. He was one of the few front guys who actually tackled his man when he had him for a loss.

Here's to hoping we start blitzing more up the middle. If we don't, the only pressure is going to be on OUR secondary.

You mean all four INTs weren't caused by the pressure on the QB? You can't have a sack and an INT on the same play. :bang2:

Just an FYI, I will take a INT over a sack everyday of the week and I will take 4 INTs over 4 sacks on Sunday! :p:

Uhhhhhh......yeah. 7th best defense in the league, gasp at the horror. Just terrible, we shouldn't show up Sunday. Those nasty Bears are going to sick Rex on us.

i'm not bashing the defense, they are respectable in the rankings but its been 2 games.

Besides that, Brady has a good offensive line, and Moss kills us even when T Newman was playing.

Its going to be a challenge for sure. The Bears, Eagles, im not worried about in the least.

There is the problem. Did you really think our pass rush would be fixed after just 2 games? Without TNew, Ellis, Fergy,??? Starting a unproven rookie (Spencer) opposite Ware also thrown in???

We lucked out? play this game 10 times and the Cowbos win 10 times IMO...They did their best, and it wasnt good enough...give henry and our Sec some credit.

Also dont worry about D WAre...it's game 2 and nobody should doubt Him...Like I said He is our beest defesnive player Period. He'll get into the groove, trust me.

This has been explained so many times.

1. We are getting pressure.
2. Teams are throwing quickly to beat it.

Just ask yourself how many 5-7 step drops can you recall over the past 2 games where the QB had time to throw?

Maybe it wasn't Zimmer's fault?

I love how this idiot celebrates another teams receiver catching a pass on our CB.

Shows you who he is REALLY rooting for.

you definitely see guys that are blitzing are getting close to QB and forcing a throw instead of getting picked up at the LOS so thats an improvement.
