Now, I know that this information is not as important to some as it is to others (like myself), but, I just went on ourlads.com to check out the up-to-date depth chart. When you see the chart & click on a player's name, it shows their most recent weights as recorded by the team. I'm figuring that the info is correct since any time I've read an article on Canty or Coleman, the are both being reported as weighing 295. That is what Ourlads has both of them listed as. With that in mind, check out some of these numbers (the weight increases are quite staggering for some):
Player ('05 Weight, '04 Weight):
Singleton - 250, 236
James - 250, 245
Shanle - 245, 237
Thornton - 245, 240
Dat - 238, 238
O'Neil - 240, 235
Ellis - 280, 271
Glover - 290, 282
Coleman - 295, 284
Carson - 305, 292
Brooks - 305, 297
I just did some of the defensive guys to give everyone and idea of what Parcell's must have wanted them to do this year: gain weight so that they can be more physical. By the way, Flo weighed in @ 335.
