I agree. The guy with 3 national titles who has been a winner literally everywhere he's ever been is a total joke.Urban Meyer is a joke.
I like my coaches nice and mediocre.

I want Young, New, a HC who is drawing up and in the flow of the game with play calls, and the unknown.Riley over Meyer? Ridiculous.
He's a great coach of young men. He's not a coach of professional grown men. The funny part about it is how you Urban Meyer fanboys don't get that.I agree. The guy with 3 national titles who has been a winner literally everywhere he's ever been is a total joke.

Who said I'm an Urban Meyer fanboy? He's a great coach of young men. He's not a coach of professional grown men. The funny part about it is how you Urban Meyer fanboys don't get that.

not an old ball coach that may not differ much from Garett.. Garetts does not suck despite the narrative around here, he simply cant take us past the 2nd round of the payoffs.. not sure how much Meyer differs from Garett, Garett may not have the big skins but hes been successful, winning10games a yr on AVg, 2 playoff appearances, one win, and 2 division titles for recent history, thats successful, we need a new staff one that can take the current talent and put us over the proverbial hump..
a young gun might make that happen quicker..Meyers would be an option but like I said im taking Riley first..
and that sitting available lie Bob Stoops etc and 100 others like him..lolSo a young guy that hasn't won a thing, that's been around a few years, and run terrible defenses in the past vs. a 3 time national championship guy, that wins big at every stop, and revolutionized the modern offense.
Makes sense in Dallas.
Did you not see me just call you an Urban Meyer fanboy? Please try to keep up.Who said I'm an Urban Meyer fanboy?
He's literally won everywhere he's ever been. There is ZERO basis for you to claim he couldn't coach in the pros.
In 3,000+ posts on this site, I think this was my first one ever re: Urban Meyer. Some fanboy!Did you not see me just call you an Urban Meyer fanboy? Please try to keep up.
It's not an unnecessary potshot when you are so willing to conclude he can do something he's never done before and nothing he has done before has prepared him to do it. It's your fanboy imagination that makes you think he can do it.In 3,000+ posts on this site, I think this was my first one ever re: Urban Meyer. Some fanboy!
Try talking substance instead of taking unnecessary potshots at people.
If you think Meyer isn't suited for the NFL, fine. But that's not what you said. You said he's a "joke," which is an objectively ridiculous statement and worthy of mocking. It's not an unnecessary potshot when you are so willing to conclude he can do something he's never done before and nothing he has done before has prepared him to do it. Same could have been said about Jimmy Johnson in 1989.He's a great coach of young men. He's not a coach of professional grown men. The funny part about it is how you Urban Meyer fanboys don't get that.
name all the successful college coaches who came to NFL and won anything in their first two years?I agree. The guy with 3 national titles who has been a winner literally everywhere he's ever been is a total joke.

If we are going to replace Garrett then replace him with Lincoln Reilly .
that's 1989..... how about anyone in the past 15 years?Same could have been said about Jimmy Johnson in 1989.
winning in college is quite different than winning in the NFL..... every college coach has to earn his stripes in the NFL. there is a learning curve. I don't care if they have 15 championships in college....college is all about recruiting....So a young guy that hasn't won a thing, that's been around a few years, and run terrible defenses in the past vs. a 3 time national championship guy, that wins big at every stop, and revolutionized the modern offense.

I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Urban as our HC.Like watching Sean P in NO. The guy oozes cockiness. You know he wants to run it up every week. I think Meyer is the same. He would instantly show these soft underachievers who the boss is. I think if you paired him with a good, NFL experienced DC you would have something. I know the chances are long but I am starting to hope for Meyer.
I just want a coach with swagger here. A guy that knows he is good and acts like it. Not the school girl running around looking for high fives after a 3 and out.
