As I thought, gave the Eagles credit for Jason Peters, but forgot to count RW in our draft grade. Too funny.

What else is funny? The fact that we grabbed DEs in the draft to offset Canty's departure! :laugh2: Obviously whoever is grading the draft, doesn't have a clue about 3-4 defenses. I actually would have been quite happy if we would have drafted a 3-4 DE.

I don't get excited when we get drafting high marks or too upset if we are given low marks. As stated you don't really know about your draft until a few years down the road.

So drafts from a success evaluation point of view should be quantified in the aggregate over several years. Highly regarded drafts at the onset of the season are mental confetti from the analysts reaffirming their purportedly great assessments.

:hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Thanks cowboyed, saved me a few key strokes.

Thinking he was talking round specific - there were better players available than we selected.

Ok fine...maybe he should name them and explain it then

No. I expected we would take some of our later rnd picks and package them to move up in the 2nd round or late 1st to get some impact players or package them to get higher picks next year in what will hopefully be a more talented draft.:bang2:

Jones said they considered moving up, but the cost was too prohibitive.

Every draft cant be an ultra headliner.

.......grades are just opinions..........won't be facts for upwards of 3 years....much like politics........but in 3 years time you have built up plausible deniability........
